Hi Rob, i am looking an Oakley lens for my Holbrook that is rose base and polarized but with greater VLT like more than 20percent VLT. Do you think is there any such lens in rose base? If not in rose base then broun or copper base would work but not grey base. Actually i am looking a lens for day to day use with maximum contrast enhancer with glare reduction specially for clearing up the morning sunlight glare at morning walk. I already have dark golf in my Bisphaera but it does not cut glare though enhances the contrast, and sadly dark golf, golf, trail or trail torch are not available in prizm polarized option else i would have chosen trail torch. So in this situation what would you suggest me in prizm polarized? And yest Violet is beautiful name!!😊

When will the Prizm Violet lenses be available for purchase on the SportRx website? I just checked and they are not showing up as an option for my half jacket 2.0.

Hello! Good news, the Prizm Violet is available in Rx for any Oakley frame that is prescription compatible. It is not up on the site yet as a selectable option as Oakley is in the process of changing some of their Rx lens offerings. BUT if you give our opticians a call, they can take your order over phone for the Prizm Violet lenses. OR take advantage of our online chat feature. Hope to hear from you!

Thanks a ton for this video. I got two questions for you, firstly how is this compared with MJ Blue Hawaii? Secondly, you have not covered Maui Jim Dual Mirror lenses in your previous reviews, so when are you going to enlighten us on dual mirror of MJ?

Great questions! The Blue Hawaii has a much more yellow/amber hue than the Violet. Similar in VLT, but I personally notice the effect on the gray base much more dramatically on the Hawaii lens. Not a good or bad thing, just a thing. We still need to film those videos and I will talk to the team about adding it to the list. The double mirrored lenses don’t come in Rx by the way. Just regular plano shades.

Would you guys recommend the PRIZM Violet (non-polarized) for the golf course? I have both PRIZM golf lenses for multiple frames, but would love a mirrored color like the Violet!

I would recommend violet lens for golf, but only as a sun protection, not as a performance enhancing tool

On a sunny day I think they would work better than a lot of options.
