Oakley's family was surprised when a hospital in Midland said they needed the care of Hurley Children's Hospital. They had never been to a children's hospital before. With Oakley's health life-threatening, they quickly learned the importance of the care Hurley can provide. Oakley was saved from a severe case of pneumonia and complications.
