I hadn't heard Noel sing this song until now. I _adore_ the original, but there's something about Noel's voice that makes it even more special 💗 as with many Oasis records. No matter how many yrs pass this beautiful song will forever remind me of my love bc he introduced it to me, & he is in particular a uniquely wonderful man who has made me look at the world & my life so differently & of course for the better. I read/heard somewhere that this song isn't about a person but rather a time. He was talking to his youth and realising it was leaving him. I agree with this - But as a fan, what made Oasis even more special to me was the songs that the regular listener wouldn't have a clue existed. These "hidden" B-sides are like 3 secret albums that hardly anyone knew about. Id rather not have the masses trying to butcher them and play them on the radio until they are hated.
