@Oran_Lee

All three brothers are funny. Not to play armchair psychologist, but I think their Irish sense-of-humor (as Noel calls it) helped them deal with the horrible reality of growing up with such a nightmare of a father. Their story mirrors my father’s story and he is one of the funniest people I know…‘cept he’s not quite as Irish. 🤪

Abso-fucking-lutely. After watching her in Liam's documentary - and this - it's easy to understand how the boys turned out the way they did. To hell with the fact that they hate (love) each other. Peggy's such a solid, beautiful Irish woman, it seems only natural that her sons would go on to create such beautiful pieces of music that we remember to this day... powerful music, though simple almost to the point of being trite. But songs that uplift us and help us celebrate "living". In the Oasis story, Peggy is most certainly the unspoken (though celebrated) hero. She is love, as Noel once put it.

Great interview by Gaybo.Mrs Gallagher is such a humble ,down to earth person and the quintessential Irish mother.I like the way she said she wouldn't move to a bigger house.She's happy with what she has and money can't change her.Shes proud of her boys but they should be even more proud of her.Im sure they are. A class person all the way ,no doubt about it.

Liam said in a interview once that even when they made it massive, Peggy who had worked 3 jobs and daft hours all her life still carried on working for a bit until the doctor said stop. The boys were upset when they found out because it was months after. Peggy's reply " l like working I've cut back it makes me happy to see people" that Irish work ethic is second to none
