While watching this I'm no longer a 38 year old, I'm a 13 year old teenager listening to this cassette over and over again in my childhood bedroom. What an amazing time for music and the beginning of a carefree, happy time in my life that Oasis was the soundtrack of. The band and album that taught me about life, love and defined being cool. Magical memories. I hope other people are going through the same emotions that I am right now while watching this.

The world was actually pretty fucked up at that time too. You probably don't remember that everyone seemed miserable and depressed for some reason, and all the music was depressing and people were overdosing. Suddenly there was Oasis and people were like finally a positive rock and roll band.

@@DoomTownGrafx Are you American by any chance? You seem to be referring to the early 90's US grunge scene. In the UK, the culture in the early 90's was totally different to the US. Nirvana were popular with rock fans in the UK, but the overall mood in the UK music scene was fun and positive, as a result of the acid house and rave scene which exploded at the end of the 80's. Noel was a part of that scene himself before Oasis. Even though Oasis didn't contain any obvious dance music influences, it crossed over into the mood of his songwriting.

One day he came home, sat me on the couch, put me headphones on, put on What's The Story Morning Glory and life never was the same from that moment on. I demanded him to repeat Morning Glory dozens of times. Couldn't figure out who was Liam or Noel. He told me they where brothers which made it even more special. Christmas that year There And Then came out and we watched it on VHS on christmas eve. Never heard of live comcerts or seen one. What a shame that Liam, Alan, Bonehead and Guigsy aren't there to share their memories as well. They all deserve an interview because every member of Oasis played an integral role. Noel is always a top interview, but having all the members would have been massive.

They could have atleast tried to get a special issue for each bandmember. Maybe someone did ask if the others want to join in but noone wanted to go with Noely. But it's more realistic that Noel wanted to do this on his own

My band in 1998 spent 6 weeks recording up at Monnow Valley just up the road which was such a privilege as we came up from Australia. Knowing the history of Rockfield and Monnow Valley and the albums that had been recorded there was mind-blowing for us and I'll never forget the day we arrived and visited Rockfield and walked the same shoes Noel does in this video. Still gives me chills.. The 90's was an amazing time.

As a fan of 60/70s Rock, I feel Oasis is the culmination of all that went before them.. a bit of Beatles melody thrown with the edginess of the Rolling Stones and the attitude of The who... but elevated to greatness in their own wright by having One of the greatest lead singer/frontman and a genius songwriter that was able to write music that captured a moment..feeling.. attitude of youth and coming of age which still resonate till this day

This video makes me feel sad, sad for the time that will not come back; sad for a musical era that is millions of light years away from todays (insert adjective here) music; sad for a band that was and it still for us but not for them... :( What made me smile was the fact that NG is "discovering" where he was "while we were getting high"....hahahaha

Legends. Brilliant. Thank you for existing. If there’s one thing that time has proven, it’s that Oasis is aging like a fine wine. I love when I hear and see younger generations getting into the band. This is the band of my youth. During anything I went through in life, Oasis was always there.

Thats what the mgt shouldve done...got liam in there with guigs, bonehead and whitey...waiting for noel to show up....overwhelm him with nostalgia and emotional blackmail and voila oasis reunion. However were this to happen i expect Noel to tell the rest of the band to do one....and then leave claiming all the glory for himself...which is something you can't hold against him as he did write the songs so a certain amount of arrogance is justified imo...

25 years. Jeepers. That is absurd. I remember I was obsessed with Oasis during those days. I wasn't old enough to see them or get involved with the culture at the time but I got completely hooked with the music because of my brother. This wall of melodic power pop really hit me like a ton of bricks but not old enough to even know why. Just an incredible sound. I taped Knebworth and I was only 9, I mean as if a 9 year old would be interested in stuff like that nowadays! We really live in a different world and especially with current affairs it kind of puts a perspective on life in a way. We just seem a million miles away from being able to attend concerts at the moment. Thinking about it now with the whole Beatles comparison, they really were a generations Beatles. A incredible phenomenon that within two years went from clubs to Knebworth. Genius!

I bought the album on the day of release. I'd already seen them live three times and they were already my favourite band in years. The 90s was the last time we were truly free, no phones, CCTV or internet, everybody sang every word of every song at every gig and there was plenty of drugs. Humanity definitely peaked in the mid 90s
