I remember this performance after watching the video recording my dad did of Glastonbury that year, as I attended with my sisters. I watched Oasis the day before stood in front of Noel three rows in. It was biblical to me as I was starting out playing guitar and writing songs, I’m also left handed and play right handed like Noel. He was my icon… magic times for me.

Turns out Liam hated wonderwall and called it trip hop!! He wanted to do don’t look back in anger but Noel told him he wasn’t doing both as was so pissed off with Liam walking off of the stage and leaving him to pick up the gig!He actually said he shouldn’t have sung either as he wasn’t a great singer back then!
@lucasm387910 ай бұрын
Liam’s tastes are so narrow, he never liked any dance music or anything that wasn’t traditional rock n roll. One of the reasons Noel wanted to go solo in the end, he had to push against Liam to do anything musically different.

@vacuumboots6910 жыл бұрын
oh you serious? Ha-ha, it's a classic tune and would have probably been even better if Noel sung it. Liam pulled a mardy and Noel gave in. Noel sings it with way more meaning, wrote for Meg Matthews originally and one of the best songs of the past 30 years, just over played to the extreme.
