@@ThePaintingChronicles Hahaha, poor Sven. I paused the video when my son came to ask me something, and he mentioned that “that guy is really strong!”, thinking Sven is somehow lifting the skull. I did not correct him 😂 I can imagine the amount of hours that go into making these. Is there any way we can support you? (other than helping oug with the algorythm🤐)

Haha, maybe he overdid it with the power lifting, with blood running from his mouth 😂 Definitely keep on pushing the algorithm with comments, likes, and sharing my videos, that's a great start. I also saw you on my Instagram, which is awesome! 😄 Besides that, I'll soon be able to offer memberships and Super Thanks on KZbin, I think. But I’m also thinking about starting a Patreon. What do you think? Any preference?

Thanks for your kind comment, much appreciated 😄 Just keep practicing and you will get there. I still have a lot of stuff left in Oathsworn, it's a slow and steady progress, but I'm having fun while painting it 😁 it's something new every time compared to painting one space marine after the other. I still need 3000 watch hours to meet the requirements for memberships, which should be manageable in a few months. Or else there is Patreon which I could setup for support, I'm not sure what to offer, besides some WIP or behind the scenes kind of thing. What do you think and prefer? Og tak for tilbuddet 😄 Oh! And don't forget to like, share and comment on my videos, I do help please the algorithm! 😄

Great paint job, but why did you make the monster Caucasian flesh colored? Seems odd that it's the same color as the human, and to me, monsters are a great opportunity to explore non-flesh colors.

Thanks you very much! 😊 That's a fair and excellent question! I actually planed to aim for the artwork, which had a purplish look to it. However, since I had already painted the Broodmother purple, I considered a reddish skin tone, but that didn't happen either. I haven't painted skin on such a large model before, so I ended up choosing a more traditional skin tone. For me it was a time consuming process, as I went back and forth quite a bit to create a smooth transition between the colors. I wanted to add some spots or birthmarks on the skin, just to make it more interesting (It looks to clean), maybe even more hair or a few scars or wounds. While I think it turned out fine, it does feel like it's missing something, I just got to a point (while painting the skin) where I needed to move on 😄
