A few small things I do. You may find them helpful. 1 - On a 7 hex size boss I place one of the 7 hex templates under it. That helps me with the positioning and makes it easier to determine if I'm attacking the front, flank, or rear. 2 - To help my odds I use the cards, so I put a die on the discard pile of each color to count the blanks played. I switch to dice when the odds in main deck seem to go above 1/3 on the blanks. 3 - The minions don't have the front marked (that I can tell), so I put a red mark on the base at the front. And, color the front triangle red on bosses.

Knockback into large characters still damages them. At 2:55:45 ish the Satyr and the blade should both have lost an HP. “If a character would be knocked back into a hex containing another character, use the same rules as being knocked back into an obstacle, except that both characters lose 1 HP.” “If a large character is knocked back into multiple characters and/or obstacles, the large character will lose 1 Hit Point for each collision. Otherwise, the rules for knocking back a large character are the same as for a single hex character.”

Thanks for the great playthrough! Just wanted to mention that wave attacks (even during a reaction) target the most characters possible. The wave attack near the end of the fight should have been toward the two characters in the NW rather than at the ranger. Probably wouldn't have changed much though since you were so close to finishing him off! Such a great game, glad you both are enjoying it!

Really fun play through! Thanks for posting. Note at 2:19:33 the priest should have been knocked back following NW rules, so since there was no “straight back” hex there were two possible hexes and the north most one (which was also the west path) should have been picked. Instead of going 3 south he should have gone 3 SW. For chain attacks 2:33:00 you should draw the damage once, and apply it fully to the first target, then you use that same damage but minus the lowest numbered card for each subsequent target. So for example if you drew 3, 2, 2, 1, blank and you had 4 targets the first would take 8 damage, the second would take 7, the third would take 5 and the last would take 3.

When the priest got the hallucination he might have gone after someone else, I forget the exact board state. Also added a note about how chain attacks work. Loving the series!

That would be awesome 🙃 A note on the rules: "Chain" works a little different. You only draw/roll once for all targets and for each target after the first you remove the lowest numbered card or dice. So since you got three times three and a blank, Colins Character would only suffered 6 damage as one three would have been removed. If there would have been a third target another three would be removed bringing the damage for that character down to three. And a possible fourth target would get no damage at all.

If you want a similar setting for D&D, look at Ruins of Symbaroum, which is the 5e edition of the Symbaroum Dark Fantasy game. It has a giant forest with a history where expeditions of dozens might enter and lose a third of their number exploring.

Great game guys well done! Right at the end there, not that it made a difference, Brock should have been at 1 defense. The throw away armour card said you have a defense of one until you retrieve your armour, having a shield equipped adds one so he would have been on two defense before throw. Pedantic I know, but rules 🙄

Great play through. Well done. I didn't view this live, so I'll ask now. Around the 2:00:00 mark you broke a location. When that happens the Boss attacks the hero that broke the location, correct? Meaning, the Target aspect on the card is ignored? I've been playing it that way. I thought I read it in the rules, but I may be incorrect. (there's a lot to keep up with and get correct on those first plays)

Thank you. Yea you are correct. It should always attack the person who broke the location. Nom not sure about the halusination cards that to us was a different rule then the attack. Please in Broken location phases boss makes all actions on stage card as a reaction? Because in rulebook in mission 1 broodmother skips active minion on step one on stage card i think...Probably dull Question but im little confused. Thanks

Thanks for the great question and comment. So yes I may have done this wrong in the playthrough. The minions only activate when a stage card is drawn during the enemy step. George talk you for the great question. You are mostly correct and in the situation in the video you are right. Only during might checks can you use empower III tokens. hi ! I really really love your video! Just one suggestion, do you think it would be visually better if you adjust camera's angle? Instead of directly shoting from the top, you may wanna tilt it a little bit so we dont only see the overhead of all the amazing miniatures and makes everything more immersive.

Great question. It is the card holder for Sword and Sorcery it works perfect so we have been using it. There are some out there on Etsy. Sadly when sleeved for us they just fall all over the place. 😃😃👍

Thanks for the great comment. From what I understand if an area effect attack hits a big base creature you get +1 damage for each other square that is hit other than the targeted one. @@MeetMeAtTheTable this is correct. You only hit one hex but you get +1 damage (for each additional hex beyond 1 that gets covered) added to the total that you roll. It is not 1 automatic HP of damage though as was implied around 1:53:51 . You do apply the rule correctly though at 1:56:30 in play.

you did some fundamentaly thing wrong. you have to hold in your deck always one cooldown 0 card and two cooldown 1, 2 and 3 cards.

You are correct. When making your deck it has to be 7 cards and have 2 of each cool down number and your 0 card. I’m sure we did this. It’s possible we made this mistake.
