Adam and Eve created satan, when they listened to him, and followed his advice. Had they gone to God first, and told God what the evil lucifer had said, God would have told them to stay away from lucifer, and God would have dealt with lucifer Himself. There is a deeper reason, but can people bear it? Jesus gave a clue in the Bible, when he said in John 8:44 " You are of your Father the devil, and your will is to do your fathers desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in Him. When He lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar, and the father of lies." That is the reason why God asks us to keep our virginity before marriage, and fidelity in marriage. Because Adam and Eve, were corrupted by lucifer, who became satan, who corrupted Gods lineage, creating the need for Jesus, a sinless Messiah, who we were supposed to follow, not kill. 1 Corinthians 2:8 None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." There were 2 prophesies concerning the coming of the Messiah. This was based on how the people would receive Jesus. These insightful words are not mine. I cannot finish the explanation now. I have to run an errand. Gods peace be with you. In reply to the question, if Adam and Eve told lucifer to get lost, had instead asked God, about what lucifer was talking about, God would have told them, that they were right to come to their Heavenly Father, and would have told them the answer to the snakes quesstion, and told them, to stay away from him. lucifer would have been dealt with by God, and there would not have been a fall of man. Then we would all have been living in an ideal world right now.

I have been dealing with my daughter’s anxiety, her seeing ghosts and my mom becoming a shaman. I’ve been haunted for the last month and was in literal pain from them. I was once a Satanist, dabbled in some dark areas, then became Heathen. Paganistic rituals and beliefs aren't new to me, I'm quite aware of certain attributes of the believers but it became all too... Devouring. I felt myself being syphoned somehow. It was a freak moment, halfway down a bottle of whiskey when I ask the question out loud, "if there is a God, how do I get to know him?" the next day, reeling from a hangover, a lady called Christine knocks at my door... The rest as they say is history. Weight shifts and lifts when you read and slowly understand the Bible, get closer to God. It did me, I'm a better man for it and once long ago I spat venom and vitriol to and about him. I'm a sinner. It is what it is, but what I do from here on out counts, we do better every day, and in doing that we breathe easier, think clearer. It's liberating. It's... Good.

I love ingesting, studying, searching and seeking answers in the Bible, and now I can even get it in my spirit as I sleep. The different voices and background noises and music are perfectly placed and truly bring the Book of Genesis to life. My goodness, what an incredible, mighty, infinitely wise, kind, strong, holy, compassionate, all powerful, righteous, generous, merciful, gracious God we serve!! The LORD our God, the Blessed Holy Trinity. How absolutely incredible and ineffably awesome is our Father? No man can come to Lord Jesus Christ unless the Father draw him! Lord Jesus Christ gave His life, selflessly laying it down to it the wages of death for our sins! You're awesome for finishing this. I'm sorry that I didn't finish it. I'm planning to continue working on the one that I started as I continue reading. What happened was that I was reading in chronological order. I read the first 12 chapters of Genesis then jumped to Job. I became so wrapped up in my daily life that I thought I didn't have time for reading the Bible, which was so wrong. I'm doing the best I can to get back into it and spend more time with God. I read the entire Bible over 7 years ago. I am now starting to listen to the audio Bible, my goal is to listen to the entire Bible this year. It is the best book ever created. I wish that I would have kept going to church when I was a kid. It would have made my life so much easier.

I’m 20 years old. I had a rough childhood which lead me to develop something known as derealization. In the midst of a mental battle I can’t even begin to describe, I reached out to God and prayed for help. After being in a consistent downward spiral for 4 years I finally began to work my way up, almost as soon as I prayed. I can confidently say that it marked the beginning of my recovery and today I feel more connected to the world and to myself than I have in almost a decade. I have attended church and loved God since I was a young kid. I have been trying to find the time to read the Bible and found it difficult. This has helped so much since I started 40 minutes ago. I started it, put my Bluetooth headphones on, lay on my bed, and closed my eyes envisioning everything. And I will be honest right now, I somehow fell asleep roughly 30 minutes into, 10 minutes later I woke up and felt incredible. The Power of the Bible and God is the greatest in the universe. I've never been comfortable in church my entire life, I think something happened to me while attending a bapist school and have repressed the thoughts and it drove me away from my families faith.To this day a church is too discomforting but do know I found my Lord & Savior and forever grateful for his sacrifice for my sins. I am here because I heard if we read a chapter a day it will take 3 1/4 years to finish the Bible but we can listen to the whole bible read on tape in just 70 hours. I will continue reading but i am listening too and have found it very enjoyable to listen. Thank you.

you should start in Acts 9 to Acts 28. then to Romans- Philemon. Paul is our Apostle. not Peter. It says Paul 18x. and Paul has our gospel in 1 Corinthians 15 1-4. it's that gospel thats found in Romans 1:16. when you see the gospel... turn to Ephesians 1:13-14. and know you're saved BY Scripture.

If you truly believe you're a sinner and need God's grace and forgiveness, you have to offer that same grace and forgiveness to others too. It's consistent and forgiveness breaks cycles. Sorry if my comment was long. The world makes way too much sense with God, and to think that I used to assume the opposite.

I was for the longest time, one day recently I started having an overwhelming draw to Christ. In that short time my life has improved, not financially I'm not concerned about that, but happiness. Everyday being consumed with financial struggles, struggles I thought were too big to conquer. Those struggles are nothing now. I'm not in church, I don't agree with organized religions but I do ask questions to a local pastor.

As someone who couldn’t read nearly a chapter a day from the Bible I can confidently say this helped soooo much I’m now listening to this whenever I have free time and I like to listen whenever I do house work or a hobby. I’m now reading 10 chapters a day! Hope to finish this by the end of year. I have trouble sitting still and focusing on reading for long periods of time, So this definitely helped

I was born in the name of Allah and his prophet Muhammad. Born from a Norwegian mother by a Tunisian father, I was raised to believe in the word of Allah presented in the Quran. But what I believed in growing up in Norway went against what is taught in Islam. I was taught that all humans have value, in women's rights, in free speech and liberty. All this is not what I read in the Quran, and it was not what my Tunisian family believed in either.
