Good looking stuff, at least for what I can see the dog looks happy to be doing this and is very focused, looks like he hasn't been trained with harsh aversives, he is happy to be by the handlers side without fearing a punishment. At least that's what it looks like to me, either they weren't used or the handler knew what they were doing and wasn't aggressive with the training methods. Nice to see.

This is awesome! There's a girl in my town who has a German Shepherd trained this way and it's amazing watching them work. I'd love to be able to get my German Shepherd x Golden Retriever to this point. She loves to please and learns very quickly. He has the colors of a West German Showline but not sure he is. If he is, he should be promoted, in my opinion, as an outstanding example of his breed. He has a nice straight back, not over angulated, strong hindquarters etc. Please make known the name of this dog and the breeder. We need many more like him to improve the quality of German Shepherds. Thank you.

He is indeed a big boy with strong body, and maybe, 5 kg extra weight. Doesn't look like a LHC (Long Hair Coat), rather short to medium sized coat.

Interesting that cluster of slight changes is a shorter ear, a broader head, a thicker set body, a dense but not long coat, almost like there was some Akita/Malamute type dog somewhere in the background.

Purebred Working lines are well known for having many different ear shapes, even in the same litter! The single ear type found in Showlines is due to strict guidlines in appearence. Basically, the other ear types were bred out of the showline GSDs. Probably a just another sign of inbreeding for looks....

My black gsd is working line. She has a straight back and she's muscular with a lot of power ( quick movement ) and enthusiasm. Working lines were bred for strength and intelligence.
