The trilithium omni allows for a second omni to be equipped. God-tier until that restriction is removed.

Just ran jupiter gauntlet elite on my FAW build with and without Ruin. In one run I used my standard supercharged weapons, on the other ruin. SCW was like 232k; ruin delivered 349.6k. Thing is though, that was 65 kills. It's almost meaningless dps, because in 95% of tfos, you won't get waves of enemies like that. I really think Ruin distorts the results in such cases. I need to do some more ISE testing with it, but so far, SCW wins out in non-supported runs. Just can't stack the kills

I do have a tank build that uses radiation, DOT, and Ba'ul weapons in combo to generate threat and relies heavily on fractal integrity blead as the a major offensive ability. I usually don't like getting lock box ships just for a single console but may do it for that build now.

Funny thing is that calculated broadside wasn’t actually that efficient for you. With ETM, it was only up half the time. If we had a real extension trait, it would be up all the time and make a huge difference. The damage buff is kinda immaterial to me. The threat control though…that’s huge, as a guy who consistently draws wayyyy too much aggro. If I could shed 50-60% of that attention, I wouldn’t worry about survivability

oh my god, i'm a moron. just checked it, and you're right, calculated broadside is not triggering off the FAW1 you get from ETM and torp spread. I can't believe i didnt notice that.

haha you’re not a moron. You’re just talking to someone who has micro-managed the heck out of his FAW build to the point of obsession, considering all the traits he can think of and how they synergize with ETM

minor Lower Decks spoilers so ... I really hope STO will incorporate that new portal and starbase 80 in some form. Also I want that Terran Calli Class in STO. Preferable as a Zen-Store or Event Ship.

I can't wait to get Lamarr Class ship to make new flagship. I hoped the second seat specialization was intel but I can make Miracle worker work.

It is just so strange to me something that looks small like the Princeton and something that's huge like this beefed up Excelsior are so similar, though I guess this could be a lot more like an original Excelsior in size and it's just the Excelsior II that's huge??

Of course the Excelsior variants can't have a 5-3 layout: the original model only has 5 forward facing phaser positions on the top view and 3 that can fire rearward, plus torpedoes and ventral weapons positions. STO can't be sensible and follow the model's indicators!
