Don't even have to look. The strangest thing in my bag is an ankle brace that I haven't worn in 24 years. I'm a bit superstitious and somehow I decided it was important to keep in the bag after I quit needing to use it. Stopped working out for 15 years but when I started again a few weeks ago it went right into the bag.

when I went to to the gym, I used to change at the gym so everything that was in my pockets or on me went in the bag for the day, but it wouldn't always come out. I have two pairs of sunglasses, one which I wear 99% and the other, you guessed it, I wear 1% of the time. I decided to wear those one time and I left them in my gym back for a month. I had been looking for them and couldn't find them and one day I decided that I needed my gloves because my hand was hurting and I found them all mangled up in there lol

I'm brand new to working out so my gym bag hasn't had enough time to accumulate weird stuff. Mine just has a towel, padlock, and a blender bottle. I am a gear hound though so as I get more into the gym I'm sure I'll get more "trinkets" and weird stuff.

The gym I go to, Planet Fitness, supplies purple tootsie rolls that you can grab a few when you leave or before you workout, and I just found quite a few in my bag ahaha I always grab a couple and throw them in my bag thinking I'll eat them, but no, I found a few smushed ones LOL!

Weirdest things I've found in my gym bag: ancient protein shake (that was a bad day), fresh laundry (not gym clothes, I think I was going to use it as an overnight bag and forgot) and my cat. My gym bag needs to get out more, I guess.

too heavy! Try doing back extensions for a bit and build some muscle there. keep doimg squats but go lighter.

Also, check with a personal trainer or another gym go-er to make sure you're squatting correctly. Improper form can often times lead to back pain.

Yo! Try the Avantree Jogger Pro headphones. I can't go to the gym without good Bluetooth headphones and these by far have been the best to me. It's supposed to have 12 hours of battery life and they've never died on me and I'm listening to them all day and I charge them every other day 👍. Keep up the good work and the great video!

Get a portable charger to halo with the beats head phones, the 15 minute super charge makes it last a hour so if u forget to charge it then use the my protein ones for 15 minutes then swap :)

In my opinion you should worry about getting into a gym first , 3-4 times a week max to get started out, after you can start worrying more about your nutrition . That's how I did it I personally lost 90lbs and have learned a lot more through out my journey. Focusing on the workout part first and getting dedicated to that eventually lead to me getting into nutrition, try doing that and good luck to you, you're still young take your time :)

+Carlos Vasquez lol it's funny that you recommend doing workouts first before nutrition, because I did the opposite. I was 315 lbs at my fattest and lost about 90 of it through diet changes before even setting foot in a gym once. As you'll have anyone tell you, it's all calories in vs calories out. Figure out what works for you, and don't get discouraged if progress isn't immediately visible. Weight loss isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. If I had one piece of advice to give to you, it'd be this: if you go 'crack' one day, and screw up your diet entirely, don't use it as an excuse to go back to your old ways from that point forward. Admit you made a mistake, and get right back at it. You'll feel so much better for all the work you put in. Good luck to you, I'm rootin for ya!

Knee sleeves always get really stinky 😂 my Mom used to make me put my bag in a plastic bag and in the trunk when she picked me up from school. We were in the gym 3x a day at school and then wrestling practice they saw use too. I found them 8 years after I stored my bag away and they still stink. I'm the only girl I know that sweats like a pig

I don't want to sound rude but I work in physical therapy so I know body mechanics and I also work out with an athletic trainer......those shoes are NOT good for squatting! You even said it seems weird that the heel is elevated but it allows you to put weight through your heels more.....that's not true, if your heels are elevated your weight will distribute through the plantar aspect of the foot (the toes). You want a shoe with no lift....just flat sole.....the elevation puts alot of stress on the knees and puts you at an increased risk for injuries.
