Hey ;) I just watched your video. I'm not gay, but I found it really inspiring what you said. Concering real friendship, the power of a supporting family and how important it is to find the strength to show the real you to other people. I think we tend to often forget how much we can rely on the people who truly love us. I'm very happy for you that coming out turned out so good for you!

You're far stronger than you think. You're a beautiful person, incredibly handsome and though I'm still going through a rough time right now with my parents (I came out to them at the beginning of the year), things are getting better day by day and your story just shows that it isn't the end of the world, things do get better, and it's important to keep and loves those that love and support you.

Your presentation of your Coming Out experience is probably the best one that I've ever heard. The advice you give at the end (really throughout your story) is right on. I'm so glad you have the parents, and family you do. This is truly a different age and I'm glad we have come this far and prepared to move on further to accepting human being where they are.

I really have to confess this is not like other coming out stories, you really gave my hope for this process, i still think i'm a little confused about taking this step, i can say that my situation may be a little strange, but hearing other stories, (everyone have a different story) kind of visualize another perspective

What a great story and so well told. It is so wonderful to see how young gays are able to come to terms with their sexuality today. Your message is right on -- only word of caution for everyone is to be sure you can come out safely -- both in a physical and emotional sense. Timing is important in this context. If you can avoid physical or mental abuse by waiting until you are in a safe environment than wait. Colton is so very lucky to have such a fine supportive family. You are one beautiful person Colton and I hope you use your talents to the fullest extent possible. You should have a wonderful life.

Colton Witt I love your story!!! The animation in your expressiveness is amazing!!! 😁🏳️🌈 I don’t know if you’ll read this, but my dad also grew up on a farm in a small town...and in Japanese culture, men are absolutely the patriarchs and as the first born son, there’s a lot of pressure. But when I came out to my dad, he asked me one question...”are you happy with Cy?”...to which I replied, “yes”...and he said, “that’s all a parent wants. K, can we get back to the show?” LOL. So yeah, your story about your grandpa made me cry ‘cause my dad died a few years ago and it brought back a lot of great memories. Also, I just wanted to say that your family are TRUE CHRISTIANS. Jesus Christ would be so proud of them! I’ve always said that he would be utterly disappointed with how many people are spewing hatred towards gay people IN HIS NAME. So I hope that you get a chance to read this ‘cause your story accomplished everything you had hoped for, at least with me. 😁🏳️🌈🤙🏽

This story is beautiful. I am not gay but this still helped a lot. I went through a tough time moving away from my home town. This video made me realise that I'm not alone and even gave me the courage to tell someone about it. The first time I saw you it was in a video I think your friend made you about you and your boyfriend. When I saw the pictures of you two (wow I sound like a stalker) (anyone who has watched this video will know what I'm talking about) it made me sad but in watching this video it has helped so much. Thank you for being you. I honestly feel like even though other you tubers might be more 'professional' you and your old boyfriend helped a lot. Xx

It's videos like yours that help me accept who I am too :) thank you so much for giving me more hope. My mum isn't the most accepting of me being gay, she kinda ignores it or tells me that I'm just confused... I haven't been able to tell the rest of my family yet, I don't have the courage to really... But your video really helped me feel better about myself. So thank you :) I'm sorry you had it tough to begin with but things always get better, they've been doing so for me too xx

it's awesome how you wanted to share your story to try and help people! personally, it really helped me bc although I don't think my mom will treat my any differently once I come out but my dad and his side of the family are catholic and I know that my dad is kinda homophobic :// I also know that my aunt and uncle are kinda homophobic too. the fact that I'm pansexual, not gay, will just mess up everything even more, but I know that my little group of close friends will accept me (:

Not to get to personal but I'd love to see a bullying video from you because what I've learned from following you on some of your social media I think it is a powerful story and goes deeper than people think. I think that story would be a huge help to many young people.

Wow thank you so much for sharing such a personal story with us. It is really inspiring to see older generations and religious people accepting your sexuality because generally they are seen as the more close minded. Also your tips were really helpful! I'm so glad that everything is going great for you now you deserve it:-) P.s with every video you do they get better, I'm so glad you are more consistently uploading! I would like to see a video about bullying, and also tips on how to survive a long distance relationship (but maybe you'd rather do that with Jared too?) Just some suggestions:-)

But this video had help me a lot, so thank you so very much Colton, you're such a cutie! I'm so happy. I don't know if this makes sense but I'm happy for you Where you came from, your family, the religious views. I'm the same. I'm Christian, and I've been long accepting LGBT community (I'm straight). And I can't tell you how much it scares me if people around me (especially family) found out I'm an ally of the LGBT community. One time I told my friends. And a lot of them is not being supportive of my decision. As expected they speak about being religious. But I want to let you know that I am forever an ally, because to me being a Christian means loving people no matter what their background. I know you help a lot of people with their problems of coming out. I know you're strong. But just remember, there will be times when you lose your grip. And whenever that happens; there are people like me that are supportive. People like your family and friends. *Be happy*
