Must be a gen 2 with that dash + Quickshifter combo. What are your thoughts on the MT09 vs your 701?

the quickshifter is actually after market. also, I kinda think owning both of them isn't for me, but thats because I want a wider variety of motorcycles. they both feel similar because they make a lot of torque, sit upright, and you get a lot of wind. They both have the same thrill up to 60mph, but then after that the fz09 keeps that excitement and rush for longer while the 701 starts to fall out of its power band. But for slower town riding I prefer the 701 cause it is light and more playful. I would definitely rather have a different bike than the fz09, maybe a better commuting bike like the Tracer 900, and have the 701 as the goon bike.

My bad, I just assumed the QS was from factory 😅. Thanks for your in-depth response 🙏🏾. I used to own a gen 1 MT09 right before getting into supermotos. Bang for buck, the MT/FZ unmatched. However, sumos are just a different kind of playful.
