When Vader says **"I am not your failure"** , his face is covered in blue light as if Anakin Is accepting the apology from Obi wan . Then his face turns red , when Vader returns with darkness . This was so symbolising in a way that even though He's Darth Vader there's is still some Anakin left in him only those who really know him can take out .(Another instance Ashoka ) and Finally Master Qwai Gon for 5secs after two and a half decades Overally what a great short series which greatly connects the events , also keeping the characters comically accurate . I will be not mad or sad if we don't get a season 2 .

When I seen "The Force Awakens", was devided about the choice name the child after Ben. One way, we suspected Luke behind it, and speculated that they was more familiar with the legend of Kenobi as the audiance did. However this show trully justified that. He was Leia's childhood hero, a primal example to what trully means to be a Jedi.

Asoka destroyed the left side of Vader's mask and Obi-Wan destroyed the right side, but only his son could remove the whole mask and restore Anakin Skywalker.

@@joeg6478 The question is, would she have wanted to. I think not. Vader was present when her homeworld was destroyed, remember? Leia had way more experience with Vader than Luke did, and in her eyes, not only was he a monster, he was one of the people she held responsible for Alderaan's destruction, the death of her parents AND Ben Kenobi. I think Leia would've killed him and the Emperor without hesitation.

@@coqueslammwell6198 - Leia never seemed that ruthless to me tho. Don't get me wrong she could be hot-tempered and extremely determined but not obsessive or vengeful. When Luke told her of his plan to turn Vader and their relationship to him, after everything Vader did to her, there was none of the anger you speak of in her words or body language, mostly she seemed afraid for Luke. She even forgave Lando after he betrayed and sold out the love of her life to Vader and Boba. Leia's an empath and one of the mentally toughest characters in SW, i think if she confronted Vader after he realized who she was, her ability to show him forgiveness despite everything he did would've been powerful enough act to redeem him without a shot fired

@@joeg6478 Lando and Luke weren't part of the military force that obliterated her whole planet, which you seem to be forgetting. And yeah, Leia did seem afraid for Luke in that moment; doesn't mean she wouldn't still be filled with rage given a chance to destroy Vader in person. People never seem ruthless when they're presenting their best selves; it's when they're in a position to actually show mercy towards someone they hate that you get to see the real person.

​cmon now, aint nobody forgot Vader blew up Alderaan. What i'm saying is based on everything we've seen of Leia's actions in the films shows she's not "presenting" or whatever you wanna call it, that's just who she is. You say she'd be filled with rage at Vader, more than likely but what evidence from her actions in any film proves she'd ever succumb and then act on those emotions? My evidence was Lando becuz letting Chewie nearly strangle him to death after he handed them all to the empire was the closest i've ever seen her come to enacting vengeance but she chose to give him a chance to redeem himself in Han's rescue and later the assault on the 2nd Death Star. All i've seen of Leia is that of savior, warrior and redeemer, never obsessive or vengeful, 2 qualities the galaxy is lucky she didn't inherit from her father. Nuthin against Luke but if anybody could've pulled Anakin back from the darkside still alive, it would've been Leia

As soon as Obi Wan saw any glimpse of Anakin under that suit his defenses came way down. All of the sudden he saw his friend, the boy he trained, not a monster. While some question why Obi didn't finish him, I completely get it.

When Blue glow focus on Anakin, he had the light, but went back to Red. Through of his time as Vader, Anakin fought his inner demons as Palpatine controlled him until ROTJ. Someone mentioned Ashoka. Hayden will return as Vader for that series.

All in all a really well done series. Sadly with the propping up of Reva it made Obi-Wan look inconsistent he was ready to kill Maul when he learned about Luke yet Reva leaving with the knowledge of Luke’s existence seems out of character. It was good to see Sidious and Qui-Gon again and if you want to believe Dave Filoni’s theory of their importance their appearances were a nice mirror to one another in regards to Anakin.

Maul was a full sith tho so ofc when he deduced Luke's existence it became a problem whereas Reva had the chance to finish Luke and his entire adoptive family but didn't. In Obi's eyes that earned her the benefit of some doubt to finally decide which side she's on free of vengeance

Jedi arent executioners, while I doubt obi-was was happy she knew what could he do about it? Maul came looking for a fight, but Reva gave that up. While it would have been best to kill her to keep the secret safe thats just not who Obi-wan is.

Obi wan was old and tired while Vader basically didn’t take any chances and went along with Obi wan’s pace. Realistically the first lightsabers where heavy and problematic so they where limited during filming in 1977.
