Plus, you're probably counting BIA's as a skill, it is a perk. It doesn't work untill 100% trained, so you're telling me that probably you should have a full crew with 3 skills, and BIA, or just 3 skills? Every time you touch tier IX? That's pretty hard to get in just one tech tree run. And that's what most players do. Even Skill, a hardcore veteran, a unicum, doesn't has that type of crew on every single tank. Lol.

I dont know why, but the 705 is my best tank. I always used the 440 gun and had a solid 58% winrate, average 3000 combined, had a game with 9 kills and several games with 5000+ damage. Definitely recommend it!

Bro the tier 8 is the best tank I’ve ever played with. I always block over 1k damage sometimes even 3k, and I get consistently over 2k damage. And I have only 48% wins overall, but with ISM I have 55%

I only have bad memories of this thing. Gun handling just never worked for me with either guns and I believe I even had a BIA crew. But when I looked back at my average performance it was actually pretty solid compared to my other vehicles.

I haven't sold this tank because it's great for the bounce damage missions. Once I got 10k blocked which was hilarious and I'm quite convinced it's possible to get at least 15k sidescrapping properly. The turret is just impressive.

I don't know if it works against 705, but 705A have small weak point on the side (between hull and turret) so while sidescraping it can be penetrated on standard ammo from very close range

I recommend you re-evaluate this tank again. It's armor doesn't hold up unless you hide behind cover. This tank is rather only "playable"

In general I think the higher alpha gun is better, the apcr has less penetration but apcr has better shell velocity than heat(in general I prefer apcr of heat when it is gold ammo). The dpm is 200 less, but this amount of lesser dpm shouldn't matter that much since most likely you won't be able to keep firing all the time.

The IS-M is a bit of a pain to grind through but can be nice to play in certain situations. The problem is that tier 10 tanks can chew through its armour quite easily so you'll just cry in the corner. This tank on the other hand looks like a great improvement. Plus the grind is quite easy if you've already got other tier 9 russian tanks. Overall I'm looking forward to playing this tank a lot since I'm still stuck on the IS-M :)

I know the 705 & 705A are too situational to ever be top-tier tanks but I love them all the same. When you can get them in a defensive positions to sidescrape they truly shine. Playing this tank for the Obj. 705A was a mixed feeling for me. Got mostly tier 10 battles and I think this tank is very situational. Too many HE-guns can ruin your day.

Dont know why but 705 was for me way better than 705A - which is strage since 705A has more HP, more armour, better overall mobility and better gun :/ There were so many situations with 705 where even X tiers on gold had troubles to deal with me... yet 705A seems easier to penetrate. Maybe the case is longer gun reload which affect whole gameplay... dunno. Anyway I was struggling which line to do: 705A, E100 or 60TP and I'm very happy that I decided to that line :) These tanks are monsters.

skill is right, overlord map is the one i hated the most and i blocked it out, I loses everytime i played on it. 3/4 of my team goes straight into the beach and enemy fast movers easily overwhelmed the upper map.

Some tanks take finesse to play masterfully as you well know. No two players play a vehicle the same way but can have similar results. Just because the tank is a capable credit earner doesn’t mean it’s a good fit even for some of the +50% crowd. The tank is the weapon, like a gun fighter from the old American Western Lore, it’s a requirement but it’s meaningless without technique in speed, accuracy, map smarts, hand - eye coordination, etc. Smart play only goes so far. It sucks when you’re “team” collapses and you’re battling three enemies at one time. I guess I’m trying to say - the tank is only one part of the winning equation. Even the best of us knows what a losing streak is. I watch a lot of videos of great players and listen carefully to the dialogue. Just because a tank is featured as a “great tank” really doesn’t necessarily influence me to go through the ridiculous grinds to get it. It has to fit, according to a guess based on just how many are played in the game overall. Rare appearances mean “Stay Away”. And Unicorns like you Skill are masters of their craft. Again, there’s really a whole lot more to the time and expense decision to grind to a tank than one or two KZbin videos. Just sayin’.
