Objekt Modeling Synthesizer First Test and Reaction | Reason Studios

I've been using Reason since v3.0 and have recorded all over the world with it. It is my DAW of choice for virtually everything. That being said, I hadn't taken the time to try Objekt Modeling Synthesizer until today. I go through some patches, make a beat and give my opinion of what is (spoiler alert) a GREAT addition to any producers arsenal.
I am a little under the weather and I was recording at 7am but I did my best... lol.

As a Reason Rack user, there's not much in the Reason 13 upgrade for me so I'll be skipping it. However, I do keep coming back to KZbin and watching Objekt reviews. I might end up getting it this Fall. I've been on the fence, but it's one of the only Reason instruments I've been super interested in in a long while. Good video, btw. I like the relaxed easy going vibe.

First patch I was thinking interesting how it simulates keyboard hammering! Then … oh, the keyboard hammering is coming from the keyboard! 😮 gets in the way of the patch auditions IMHO …

Physical modelling Synth replicates the frequencys of physical objects and how they respond to each other. Thats basically it, and yes Reason is great.

Objekt Seems to really shine with the External In Section. All the nuance and expression of the incoming audio seems to bring it to life BeardyMans video on it was crazy. So I've Been looking for more videos on it before I dive in. Have you experimented more with the ext in feature since filming this video?
