Very true. I love Skyrim, but when I walk into a town, I know exactly what I’m going to see and hear. “I know you can afford a Septim or two.” “If you’re headed to the Blue Palace, you may want to rethink that outfit.” “What’s the matter? Can’t stand the sight of a strong Nord woman?” Braithe bothering Lars. Brynjolf trying to sell me falmerblood elixir. That altmer woman telling me how boring horses are. It gets old real quick. Whereas in Oblivion, sure they all have lines related to their character, but I felt like I never knew what they were going to do next. Mostly because they probably didn’t know what they were going to do next either. I guess that’s the benefit of only having like 6 voice actors.

@TanakaMatsumoto Жыл бұрын
@@Esuerc Yes but there's ambiguity in Babette she may look like a child but she's clearly not. In Oblivion they straight up killed a child and laughed about it. I mean there is a difference with Babette. Sure the contact tried to lure her away thinking she was an ordinary child but it could be argued that's Karma, where as the 6 year old couldn't have done anything that warranted a brotherhood contract. There are assassins outside of the brotherhood and I imagine they're much cheaper than the "elite" brotherhood assassins, but still someone took the time to perform the sacrament and pay the fee to have a 6 year old killed... Surely whoever made the contract could've just done it themselves.
