Mastermind Richard West explains: "'This Is Not a Test' is a song about finding out you've been conned. We had a great time filming the video last month at rEvolver Studios in Gothenburg (In Flames, Europe). Although most of us already knew each other, it was the first time we'd all met up as a group. Fortunately we got on like a house on fire!"

Blown away by the power of this band. "Forests in the Fallout" is a great song but "This Is Not A Test" is even better. The instrumental bridge with the guitar solo is my favorite part. The lyrics are really great too, especially these verses: "You can try to censor the written word But you can’t make everything be unheard You can fill the world with your little lies But the truth will always be recognized" I'm obsessed! The music video is perfectly in line with the vibe of the project. I'm a fan of Patric Ullaeus's work.

Kind of reminds me of the band Threshold.

This is Richard's West side-project, who has done many brilliant songs for Threshold throughout past 30 years :) and he's author and singer of this new project. Absolutely fantastic guy he is. Such a shame that i'll never see him or Threshold just to say "thank you" for all immense treasure of arts, that has been created by them. Not many people will know their music, but i'll do my best to get my Russian friends acknowledged with them, you can be sure.

Love the song just wish Glynn was singing. Richard is great but he's not a lead singer. Threshold should have never passed on this.

I don't see the point in this project. The songs and the vocal are weaker than Threshold.

Richard West wanted to do a sequel for "Legends of the Shires", but the rest of the band voted against, instead they ended up releasing "Dividing Lines". So he went on with this project of his own, in parallel with Thresh.
