8:50 - Seeing Sir Winalot (also Pal/ Pedigree Chum/ Lassie Meaty Chunks/ Minced Morsels) set alight and transformed into a towering inferno of dogfood made me feel good. Because I'm such a bitch. Woof. The attention lavished on the stupid House Robots is one of the many things that contributed to the demise of Robot Wars, so I rejoice whenever I see them suffering. Viva schadenfreude! :-)

I've always found Oblivion's series 4 melee funny. It's one of those fights that turns out to be the complete opposite of what you'd imagine. I mean, on paper the low, 4 wheel drive boxes with a lifter and axe should run rings around this sawblade monstrosity, which looks like it could fall over on its own. Instead, Saw Point is the MVP of the fight; It KO's Oblivion by driving over it, and then outpushes Aggrobot. Also, look at it in the grand scheme of things; This heat has a former champion, a 3 time heat finalist, a team that beat Razer, a team that would go on to build one of the most powerful spinners in the show, and.....Overkill. Yet the awkward, delicately balanced Saw Point finished third.
