Obnoxious 2010 Molded WideBody Subaru WRX Hatchback! | SHORT FILM (4K)

@ 2:30 long gone are the days where the Subaru community felt like a close knit group. Everything changed around 2014 when the WRX and STi got really popular due to more people being able to afford them. Especially with the 2015+ generation where many of them don't even know a community like this existed. It's usually owners with older than 2013 models that do the Subie wave/deuces while 2015+ owners either don't see you, give you a weird look, or sometimes even give you a mean look lol.

lol yeah! To be honest, I don't wave at fellow Subies anymore unless they do it first, then I acknowledge back. Like you said, it feels awkward and weird when they don't see you, or pretend so.

I had a 12 WRX hatch, then got into a 16 STi. I still wave to any Subie that has a hood scoop, any Subie modded. Hell I even throw the dueces to EVOs around my town. I do miss the GR. If only I can find an unmolested, stock, low mileage, SWP, STi hatch, I’ll get rid of my VA for that!

FACTS. One thing that is consistent is anyone with a 15+ I have tried to wave at never waves back and sometimes looks annoyed. It’s a bummer. Anyone in an older model like you mentioned always waves, sometimes beating me to the punch. 2011 WRX hatch

Man I do the same thing with other cars good ol peace ✌ sign or wave 👋! I have a 98 subaru impreza hatch with a carbon hood. Own it and its my daily its still a huge work in progress but I have wrx coilovers lowered and a catback demon exhaust with a deleted resonator and it sounds just about like yours.. super loud and always puts a smile on the face! Love the hatches

2010 wrx never came in wide body? 2011 wrx came wide body, but not with that front bumper. That front bumper is off the 08-10 Sti. I’m so confused lol

@@EddieNuffSaid the "rumble" is due to unequal length tubing in your header ! Hehe . This condition causes unequal tuning as each cylinder is running at different pressures of intake and exhaust because if the difference of flow characteristics of your header that is not necessary for you have to endure..not to mention the strain it puts on your rods and crank bearings as an untuned engine produces different amounts of horsepower per cylinder cause low pitch misfires making your blubbering sound from "cold" rich air/fuel mixtures in a cylinder next to a "hot" lean air/ fuel mixture firing in unequal pressures in your exhaust collector ....this will cause some pistons to over heat whiles other will carbon up and "scrub" the cylinder walls ....hehe . It about the dumbest thing you can do to your engine that all subi doers do and then brag about the blubbering sound of your engine as caused from a poor air/fuel misfire ...lol there are several well tuned exhaust on the market today that will bolt on made to fit your car and engine setup that will way more extend the life of your engine plus having a bigger gain in performance over all ...sounding more like a crotch rocket than a four cylinder with partially burned out exhaust valves
