A full tub of water gives 25 dollar profit, and costs 250 to make, you have to sell 10 full water containers to actually make your money back... I ended up building my shop using purely on-sale rare items, attachments are especially good when you get the free money, but if you don't find what you need on sale, leave the parts shop, go to your store and return, the shop refreshes based on distance, I believe. The vending machine also has similar profit margins to the water tank, you'd have to make back the 500 it cost to buy it, but that's easier done with guns than the snacks. My main issue so far is that you don't get as much profit with everything else, and just making guns isn't inherently fun imo, so I hope they add staff in a future update!
@DailyCorvid9 ай бұрын
Watercooler is good because if you see 5 customers in a day, they will always buy water which means you make an extra $25 per day. So if you calculate the payback on $250 over days, it's actually only 10 days, provided you don't get lazy and allow yourself to run out of parts! You say that stuff doesn't make enough profit but that's because you are not investing enough in your shop, stuff like the cooler is the reason you make less profit. The main aim of the thing seems to be to make as much from each customer as you can make, since there is a maximum number you can serve in a day. Water cooler is basically $17.50 free money per day (considering refill cost), I think you should buy it. Plus it's more fun when your store is banging and each day is more money imo.
@Official_Arion9 ай бұрын
@@DailyCorvidI see what you mean, min-maxing the gun production process is just too good to justify anything other than maybe the shooting range and bullets (shooting range is free money from buyers and bullets pay for themselves on top of tips) Water is a flat 5 dollars per purchase, snacks are also a set price per purchase, no tips. The extra money required to buy the supplies on top of the machine/dispenser just makes them a bad purchase early game in general, since 10 days can easily be missed if you aren't comfortable making guns as you sell them, there's no automation of any tasks to make the experience simpler, it's quite straightforward in a way, but it's not benefiting from it.
@DailyCorvid9 ай бұрын
@@Official_Arion I don't know man, I am one of those nerdy long-term planner type guys lol soon as I saw water cooler... I was like cool free money! I am not a min-maxer or anything but just I like to do everything strategically. But yeah I get what your saying : Stick to gun sales basically because everything else sucks. I still think that the game intends for you to make each customer more profitable though, without all the extras your throwing away cash on each sale. Plus I find it's kinda boring just doing nothing but building guns. I feel like, selling less guns for more money is a good way to play for me. The cost of water doesn't go up and the profit from each up doesn't ever go down. So it's a cool background skim. Min-maxxing guys probably think I am a megadouche :D I hope they add cashiers at some point too, automation would be great for this game.

They need to create an "additives" section, so I can add things to the water that affects the customers behaviours. That would be awesome! - Sedatives (less stealing, bigger tips) - Steroids (more stealing, more sales) - Stimulants (better reputation, more mess) I could probably think of a few more if I wanted to. Hey there ain't no regulators in the post-apocalypse!! Lol.

😂lmao, Oboe playing this game finally made me so frustrated that I actually played my first store simulator ever just to prove my theory for this game was correct. I hope oboe gives it one more try! 1) grab tip jar first, literally free money for immediately serving Customer 2) max out bench as priority #1, it’s the largest revenue growing facet 3) clarity on the red and green arrows: red is good showing you that particular part is cheaper than when you last bought it. green is bad. The price is gone up since you last bought it. idk why. 4) food, water, and ammo are all simply double profit, so whatever you pay into it, you will get double that when it all gets sold. Doing all three together will make the store busier and makes the drip feed a steady trickle. 5) what determines gun value when sold: the price you bought each part in the build for + bench markup %, rarity level, all attachment slots used, optics and suppressors add insane profit bonuses, they are deff worth it 6) Oboe tip: the game tends to make parts more affordable the more often you buy them with a random reshuffle and price hike every once in a while. despite never having played a store simulator before, this one actually ended up being quite enjoyable for me. The exploration around the sector is worth it, as there are four different areas where higher level weapon parts are hidden, IIRC oboe has found two of them.
@breaudamn92728 ай бұрын
7) just always buy the cheaper red arrow items, you want to avoid buying green arrow items basically as often as possible 8)early strat is to buy cheap and stay in gray, green, blue items except for bases, but fill ALL attachment slots, only picking up the more rare items when they go cheap red arrow 9)hot dog is worth it, you benefit from speed, because when you’re not hungry, your energy lasts way longer, allowing you to reshuffle parts seller inventory by running away to your house, and then back, new parts with new prices same day. 10) when shopping for parts, there’s a tendency for duplicates to be on the table, maybe even three of a kind, grab the cheapest one LAST to set the lower price next time.
@breaudamn92728 ай бұрын
lastly, yes, removing the gate and selling ammo will begin customers using your shooting range. you should not need to upgrade it all the way for customers to start using it. But a good strat for the range is to get all lanes open first before you upgrade them for quicker revenue flow. I know it’s been a drag so far oboe , but maybe with these tips you might have a better time. Maybe even worth a fresh restart? Either way, love all your stuff Obroe!

i got the game and you really don't need to fill the hunger bar like that. the strat (the one I used) is to just buy a bunch of parts from the main guy at the start of the day, sell things from noon to close, then spend the night building more guns before sleeping from 6 to 7 (your entire energy bar will be filled regardless of how much you sleep)
