Dude. The horse racing thing. The IRL version was this gigantic like 20x8 foot table made by SEGA. The mechanical horses were super detailed and went around the track every race. Thing had like 15 seats around it, huge screen at the end that had tons of great animations and info.. Each player had their own screen with a bunch of buttons to pick horses, loads of different types of bets, even trifectas. Thing took quarters. They had one at this middle of nowhere Casino in Bay Mills in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Me and my friends in college would drive an hour to the place, sliding all over the highway in the middle of winter just to feed quarters into it. The most fun you could possibly have with a group of friends at a casino. This was like 20 years ago. I wonder if there's any still in existence. Shiiit, that thing was so fun I'd travel multiple hours to play one again. 😂

Sega Royal Ascot... That was it. You search for it online most of the pictures are of sigma derby, which is much crappier. The Sega royal ascot didn't have stiff horse models on sticks. They actually looked like they ran around the track, and could even go running off in different directions. No idea how the technology worked probably some electromagnetic nonsense. But it was ungodly cool. Now that I think about it. Based on the complexity of whatever had to be going on under the hood of that thing, they're probably all long ago broken down. Still, holy crap was that thing good.
