Steam zombie battle is going to be the only game my child plays, that way when he grows up it will be a platoh's cave experience

I feel like oboe is close to breaking the record of “most asset flips ever played”

Imagine being the only form of documentation for the "game" Zombie Battle and you accidentally mistake the ammo powerup for the sword powerup. Now everybody who wants to learn about this game in the future has to witness your error

It’s beautifully stylized as a play on classic boomer shooters, a true testament of quality in this day and age. This is one for the history books.

You should make a zombie asset flip, it would be cool

6:40 theres something called carbonadoium which was created from melting the murasama blade, and it completely stops regeneration, also the adamantium in his body is steadily killing him.

don't worry, Godot is easier to learn and no strings attached. and honestly, people only say Unity is better because that is what they're used to by now, but Godot is incredible if used to the same degree.
@Injazz19 ай бұрын
Godot's went through the same mistake a lot of contenders did - invent their own flavor of scripting language, and now they have to do 2x the work to maintain gdscript AND csharp with devs basically separated into 2 different camps that won't give up on their choice of language.
@Injazz19 ай бұрын
If I need something more advanced than asset flip and for example have to re implement node tree I would be in a lot of pain. It's also isn't much modular which is pretty horrible for open source engine (I tried to use only renderer and it's spaghetti with node tree entangled)
@Valdyr_Hrafn9 ай бұрын
@@Injazz1 idk about you, but everyone I know uses both Csharp and GDscript depending on the situation. GDscriot is also rediculously easy to learn, so your argument is just a bad excuse imo.
@Valdyr_Hrafn9 ай бұрын
@@Injazz1 also I don't understand what you are trying to say here, asset flipping has next to nothing to do with the engine? You can make your own assets, it even has a very cool blender integration. And idk what you mean by it isn't "modular", its by far the easiest engine to make tools for as it runs on its own engine. But maybe I misunderstand what you meant by "it isn't modular".
@Injazz19 ай бұрын
I'm sorry i just didn't notice you said "to the same degree" in your first comment. I'm mad at godot for mechanisms that are far deeper than average indie devs digs into. Blender integration has nothing to do with being modular. You can see how community is divided by gdscript/c# debate by browsing godot's github.
