I took a not-so-budget route (about $150) to Obosh when I built it a while back. With most of the "temporary draw" you get from Valakut Exploration, you really aren't going to get to play the card but about 10% of the time. Short of running Nahiri's Lithoforming, you aren't likely to hit multiple triggers per turn. Not sure if it's my luck or what, but over half the time, Sin Prodder hits a land, and my friends aren't nice enough to put it into my hand.

@@Akario3 Yikes indeed my friend. I run FE in my obosh list, I've killed someone with 2 red mana from ~35 , turns out Lightning Bolt and Skewer the Critics ARE good in commander when they each deal 18 damage!

A card that I like in infect decks is Chandra’s Ignition, especially if you have any creatures big enough to one shot your opponents with infect, because it’ll just take out your opponents in one go

@@Gaming_Duck The biggest thing I've learned with playing it quite often and making swaps is that sometimes smaller damage effects are much more effective than the big splashy stuff. Things that deal 1 or 2 damage don't seem like much but with the amount of damage multipliers this deck wants to run they can add up very quickly. Also be sure to pay very close attention to your sequencing and your own life total to make sure that your opponents and being hurt more than you are. I've had several games where I made a miscalculation and ended up taking myself out of the game by mistake. Although it does make for some very funny stories afterwards. Best of luck if you decide to build him and have fun playing with fire lol.

Big tactic with brash taunter is to fight your own creatures if obosh is out. Brash will do 2 damage to obosh but obosh will do 6 to taunter. Taunter will then do 12 damage to a player

Point blank this is the coolest of the Companion Creatures, not just the looks but the powers as well. It's unique, damaging, and makes X cost burn spells so much more painful. Some of my favorite legends are in Rakdos colors, and I can't wait to make a Blim, Comedic Genius deck in fact.

repercussion is pretty fantastic in damage doubling decks, since it essentially copies each of your multipliers. Tripple damage? Try 9 times. 4x? you mean 16x. ect

Thats just how tcgplayer is. You can try putting the list into card kingdom and see if its cheaper but they dont tend to sell singles for less than 25 cents.

Try to consolidate the cards to as few sources as possible. Sometimes you get a card for dirt cheap but it has to be shipped separately, so you end up spending more. Sometimes you have to pick a pricier option, and you can just think of it as discounted shipping.

Thanks for all the help. The problem is that not all of the cards are coming from the same vendor so I get charged like $0.78 for shipping of one $0.20 card. So consolidating the cards to as few sources as possible seem to be the best option. I tend to remember TCGplayer back in the day had free shipping on certain dollar amounts but that was years and years ago. I'm just hopping back in now
