I would recommend turning display capture on and off a few times. IF that doesn't fix it, try reading the effect, then restart your PC.

It pops up just before i install it, the options are "Browser Source" and "Realsense Source" under Plugins

oh, those are installation options for optional plugins you can get with OBS. Browser source lets you link a browser page as a live video feed into obs, and Realsense lets you use the real sense Green screen effect :). Let me know if you have any more questions :).

I have a question, my monitors default resolution is 1366 x 768. Do i keep it at that and if yes, what quality would i stream on.

I would most definitely keep your base Canvase resolution at your monitors 1366x768. Now, as for your output scaled resolution. You could keep that the same, as your Base resolution, this will make it harder for your computer to record and stream though so you can lower this till it's easier on your PC. Note though, if you lower the output resolution, it will make it more pixelated on your steam then it is on your computer. This is something that you will have to play around with to see which works best for your setup :). Normally I take a 1920x1080p screen, and I take that down to 1280x720. Effectively cutting my steaming resolution in half of my actual screen, because it lags my steam out to much to record at full rez. :). Let me know if you need any more information. Hope this helps :).

Hello :D! I'm sorry to hear that OBS is giving you trouble, don't worry though, we will get it fixed :D! First off, thank you very much for linking to that time in my video, this really helps show me where you are at. Really appreciate it :)! The first thing I would recommend is trying to run the OBS installer as administrator. You can do this by right clicking the installer and then click on "Run As Administrator". If that doesn't fix it, I also recommend restarting your PC, as well as making sure you have the most updated GPU drivers for your system. Also, what Operating System do you use? Is it windows 10?

hmmm, interesting. From what I know, there should not be any intel download. I would remove OBS, and redownload it, and see if it does the same thing. To record this video, I used a program called Nvidia Geforce Experience. :)

Hmmm, interesting. Did you make sure to choose your correct display after you set display capture? It should have a popup that asks what display you would like to show. This said, even if you did that, it may bug out and not show sometimes. For this, I recommend restarting OBS, and your PC. Next, run OBS as administrator. Let me know if this helps :). Also, create a new display capture setup as well :).

im very late but ive been having an issue with the black screens bugs. i can only capture with "window capture" for league of legends and google chrome . i use to be able to mirror my phone to my pc then use streamlabs obs in order to stream my mobile game but i just get a black screen and the only thing i can see is the cursor and not the actual background of my phone. i used sidesync for both windows 10 and my samsung phone not sure how i can fix this. i downloaded obs studios curious if id have the same issue and its the same.

To fix the black screen issue, remove the screen capture source you set, and re-add it back. If it still dosent work, remove it again, and add it again. If it still dossent work, turn it off and back on by clicing the eye. If it "Still" Dosent work after that, try reinstalling OBS. Let me know if this helps.

When you first join youtube, you can only upload videos that are 15 mins long or shorter. Once you have an account for a bit, then they will open you up to upload bigger videos. How long is the video your trying to upload now? Also, did you make sure to record your video in an MP4 format and NOT the AVI format? Try Removing Source, and putting it back in for the desktop capture. Try this about 3 or 4 times, if it still keeps giving you this issue, try restarting your PC and trying again. If it still dossent fix it, try restianling OBS. Let me know if this fixes it :).

Hmm well, you can tell by right clicking on your desktop and then click on Nvidia Controle panel if you have a Nvidia GPU. Also, it's probably ok to download those components either way, so I would give it a try :).

I'm afraid that i've never set up an IP camera with OBS before sadly, i know what you mean, there is not much documentaion on setting that up with OBS out there at all. For 480p video, you could very easily get away with a bitrate of 500-1000 no problem :)!

Oh yep, its windows 7+ so that means it will work on anything from windows 7 and up :).

Epic J Creations it’s alright. I looked up how to get OBS connected to I3 core it still lags though. Computer runs at 900p my bit rate was set to 2750

Oh, I see. A bitrate of 2700 can still be high for computers that dont have a dedicated GPU. Does your computer have a dedicated GPU or an integrated one?
