You can do the same but clicking on the middle of the OBS previsualitzation. Then, if you switch in diferents scenes, they will switch too on the projector.

This helped a lot! I realized there are 2 different "FULLSCREEN PROJETOR" options when you right click on the preview tho. One is (source) the other is (preview) ... if you set (preview) to your external device THEN it will send ANY scene you select downstream. This took me HOURS to figure out haha

The problem I am having is I use OBS to stream my football games from my XBOX 360. Thing is when i switch to INPUT 2 on the tv im using xbox on it wont pick up the sound. is there anyway to tell OBS that its on INPUT 2 so the sound gets picked up?

As a videographer can I connect my laptop to a projector via hdmi and record a presenters PowerPoint to incorporate it into a video edit? (Would be a multi-cam set up of the speaker but would want to incorporate some edits of his PowerPoint slides in sync with the multi- cam cameras) can I use my laptop and OBS to do that? Would also want to record his audio to laptop with the slides so I can sync easy in post

Ok my question is I have atem mini pro connected to a Imac, but I want to screen my output from OBS or the media player on the atem? I have 1 ptz cam in input 1, laptop in input 2, 3&4 don’t have anything connected. The hdmi out is connect to a external pc monitor to multiview, webcam is connected to the iMac, and the Ethernet. I have another external monitor to the iMac as an extended display. I have an atem streaming bridge to program out the source end of the hdmi to streaming bridge and the other end of the hdmi which is display end connect to 1x8 splitter which is plugged in the input slot and the 4 TVs plugged in the output part of the splitter. So I’m on my iMac working OBS so I’m try to output what have develop on the program side of OBS, I right click to full screen projected it on extended screen not show up on the TVs. Please tell me what I did wrong or how can I get the OBS input on the TVs at my church?? 😩😩😩😩

That’s right. I eventually found the solution. You have to change the option in Mission Control for spaces. System Preferences> Mission Control>”Displays have separate Spaces."

Yes - just right click on the program view (the window which is showing what your output/stream looks like) and choose Fullscreen Projector.

If I press the ESCAPE key immediately after I set the projector then it is removed, however is there another way? Because If I click away or have an error I have to close OBS to remove it and have it available to set again. ??

go into your taskbar, you will see two open OBS windows, one is the main screen, the other is the projected screen. Just close that window. I do this all the time to turn monitors on and off to black, leaves the livestream on, turns the local monitor off.

You can enter studio mode and right click in any empty space in the "program" area. The options to output fullscreen or windowed will appear and you can choose which device (connected to your computer), you'd like to send the content. You can also do this without entering studio mode by right clicking in the programing area (default view) and following the same instructions. Hope this helps someone. Cheers!

@@nigelholehouse4004 Thanks for your reply Nigel! You are correct, this works ordinarily. The issue that I have run into is when the screen that is being projected to glitches or gets disconnected. Here is how you can replicate it: Project to a 2nd screen, then turn off this screen, then turn it back on. When the monitor is reconnected you will not see the new display available in the list of available screens to project to until you restart OBS. This seems like more of an issue with folks like me experiencing issues, or with a need to disconnect monitors, maybe it's a non-issue for others. But here is a work-around: If you project into a "Window" vs the Display then it will remain even when the monitor you have placed it on (in full screen) is removed.
