Becki question, I try to learn guitar from a friend but the sound waves in and out, i'm about to set up OBS from this then connect say to discord, have you come across this problem before with sound

@@crazyade9556 I’m going to take a guess that there could be a filter set up on the microphone, maybe a compressor or noise gate which is causing the cutting out. I’ve played guitar and ukulele on stream and I have to toggle off any compression I have on my the mic so it can hear all background noise. Hope this helps!

i just want mic settings geared to female high pitch voices

Hi Norma. I would suggest looking for settings specific to the mic you are using. I have done some audio tutorials but these are generic such as Audio Ducking. Each mic picks up sound completely different and each voice is unique so it’s very difficult to say “use these settings for female voices”. I may do a video in the future to show what each of the audio settings do within a VST plug-in as that is what will let you change the ‘warmth’ of your voice which is what I feel you may be looking for.
