OBS wiring harness LS Swap

I am going to thin out the OBS harness in preparation for the LS Swap. It is not that hard thanks to LT1swap.com. Follow the print outs that are available, grab a few beverages of your choice, and get rid of the unnecessary connectors on the factory harness. As always thank you to all of the faithful subscribers, and welcome to anyone that happened upon my channel; I appreciate it and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. You can do it!

i am desperately looking for a c1500 1993 obs 5.7 tpi 4l60e auto swap to a carby and retain the original gauges and gear change.. i am in Australia

I've heard parts in Australia are crazy expensive. Keep after it, and you'll figure it out.

hi i have a question i have a 92 c1500 4.3 tbi manual transmission and have a donor 99 sub and a 5.7 all harness automatic can i swap v8 to it including harness and make it work with 5 speed? thanks

Definitely. Guys use manual transmissions and non electric transmissions (th350) all the time. You'll have to do some homework as far as pilot bearing, flywheel, etc. for your combo, but it can totally be done.

I would love to, but I barely have enough time to tinker on my own projects. It may seem intimidating, but with a little time and some trial and error, you can do it.

I can’t seem to find a diagram for a 95 obs originally a 4.3 5 speed truck… I’ve been searching over a week and all the diagrams I’ve found was incorrect

I'll try to poke around in my spare time. Try and find a 95 gm service manual online. It would have the schematic in it

@@macsboneyardbuilds I found the manual but it still showing wires I don’t have for example a-2 no wire on my bulkhead but it shows a wire on the diagram… I don’t know if I’m looking at the v-8 wiring diagrams or what

Do you have a backprobe, or wire chaser. You may have to do it the tried and true method and just start testing which wires in the cab coordinate with the wires in the bulk head. Slow and tedious, but it works. I agree, I've poked around the net looking for what you need, and it is not readily available like many others.
