When you showed that teacup, I cut away ordered the Box and plan on building a miniature of an officer with the red tunic, the beret, pistol in one hand, and teacup in the other. somehow I don't think you could get more British than that

Being a imperial guard player, I love the fact that with just 3 box's of them I have the core unit's I need to get a new army on the table plus you can't beat the price. Conversion possibilities are endless when mixed with other boxes from the line so I'm sold on it . Thanks again for a great video.😇🙏

I am using the heads with the frame covers to make some pseudo mordians. The arms on these are a bit fiddly.

Glad to hear it's not just me having a challenge with them! That's about the biggest detraction I can think of.

Thanks for this video review! I can't wait to see these show up in the local shops! They look awsome, at least for my purposes. Wargames Atlantic are hitting it out of the park! I hope they do a couple AFVs at some point in the future.... Thanks again!

They would make good Cadian variants. Victoria Miniatures has a few nice commander miniatures in resin. Plan on buying one or two and then using these guys in Stargrave as British space corps. maybe even pair them up with a psyker for some psionic backup.

These models scream Mutant Chronicles/Warzone! And, and their detail is sharper, more akin to GW 90's plastics.

It be strange looking to have these with my IG with British heads from West Wind Productions BUT as a commonwealth of Albion, the old can be shunted to Canad and the "New" Albions will be made from these guys. Similar color scheme just a difference in uniforms.

I used the gatling arms on the grognard set. Pretty nice combo 😎

I'd be using my grognard arms as well- if I can find where I put them!

Glad to get a look at these! I would love to hear your thoughts on their WWI Germans, planning on using that kit to start an Imperial Guard force for Warhammer.
@ObscuritiesinMiniature2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I need to get around to the Germans. Problem is I built almost the entire box... and can't remember where I put everyone! Rest assured we'll get them uploaded once I know where they are!

After watchins some of your Clips iv made purchase for Lizardman and grongards they look good. Im thinking about gerting some Cannon Fodder miniatures they look cool for Stargate scenario team:)
@ObscuritiesinMiniature2 жыл бұрын
That would be a good use of the Cannon Fodder! I keep goofing around with the lizards- in fact I just started painting a few more this afternoon!

Be kinda cool to get an army builder of this set

Fact you’re keen to paint suggests a good kit.
@ObscuritiesinMiniature2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Any time I actually get paint on models, never mind multiple models in different schemes, is a good sign that I'm a fan. Certainly helps that Wargames Atlantic keeps consistently putting out solid kits!
@stompie512 жыл бұрын
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature true that. Wasn’t sure about the Aztec kit though.

I am of mixed feelings on these. That grenade launcher arm just. won't. fit. There aren'r enough different submachine gun arms, and there needs to be some greebling to fill in the gaps at the waist. I used extra imperial guard grenades, canteens, and knives to fill them in. I'd rate them a 7/10.
@ObscuritiesinMiniature2 жыл бұрын
For a wargamer, there's never enough of something! I wanted more submachine guns too. Or knives. Or swords. Or one more backpack. I *think* I got a grenade launcher to fit? It's like I (think I) mentioned in the video- the designated hands just don't do the best job of cooperated with their intended partner.
@bopaintsminis2 жыл бұрын
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature It's the arm holding the grenade launcher I can't get to fit, not the support arm. The right arm won't fit flush on the shoulder without rotating it up to an absurd degree. When I try to put the grenade launcher down in a realistic position it opens a gap in the shoulder. I may have to get out the miliput. Wargames Atlantic is still experiencing growing pains.
@charlesentrekin1402 жыл бұрын
@@bopaintsminis as someone who used to use an m79 grenade launcher big angles are the norm mostly between 40 and 45°. That gives you the best distance.
@bopaintsminis2 жыл бұрын
@@charlesentrekin140 The arm is not high in a shooting position though. That would make sense. It is in a.high.carrying position, like weird high not-quite shouldered. I ended up cutting the grenade launchers off and kitbashing guns that looked more natural. In fact I ended up cutting some of the subguns from the death fields upgrade sprue because I did not like the rifles in the bulldogs kit.
