I have been observing Niall and I think, if I get your meaning, you are on to him. I saw him look very downcast when Zayne was saying something really nice about Harry and I saw him come over to hug the two of them when they were hugging each other. Then, one time, I saw him fall back to the right off camera at Zaynes' feet the way Harry once did. I could not see his face but Zayne merely glanced at him and then looked back at Harry. He even sent messages of support to his fans who made zarry fan art among other pictures they would draw of him. He did say in 2015 after he left that there are no secret relationships in the band and that lads would be uncomfortable with the conspiracy, he never said that it made him uncomfortable or that it affected his relationship with someone. About fanfics he said he would never read them because 'why would you do that?' And I agree it would be so strange to be reading about people's perception of you and being trapped in it especially when you have anxiety. It would be unhealthy.

I agree with what you say, but I think this went far beyond that. Young men often engage in putting their arms around their friends' shoulders, patting them, quick grabbing and punching each other, often in areas we would consider inappropriate. BUT, they are far less often going to place their hands on such locations and then hold them there. They do not hold hands repeatedly and for extended times nor do they press their faces together, whispering while touching the ears with their mouths and sometimes even appear to be kissing each others' ears. They don't gaze directly in each others' eyes usually for a long time or repeatedly. When they make statements or sing lyrics about love they don't usually look over to see if another one, in this case the same one, is watching them. So much of this body language shows that their relationship was beyond mutual admiration, which they did feel as well.

Harry has a mysterious ship with each member of one direction tbvh not just Larry or zarry as they were/are the most subtle obvious ones but with Liam and of course narry ( the bear hugs are my favourite) so not just zarry but I firmly believe that Harry literally his this aura around him which attracts everyone
