Even if you didn't make it to the top, you still made it to one of the most beautiful places on earth, a place very few will go to in their lifetime. The top of the mountain is not the final goal. To me, you were close enough. To me, you made it and made it big. You are showing us how to live life to the fullest. Thank you.

I feel that the climbers who know when to turn back and not simply make the push are following their instincts. They know their limits and they're not letting summit fever take over. They're still only two of a few dozen people who've seen the world from where they turned back. THAT is still an accomplishment.
