Lost my father-in-law 5 n half yrs ago, he fought it for 7yrs but it came back, unfortunately he didn't recover from his last operation, devistated our family and we all miss him so much still. Left a hole that could never be filled 😢

I lost my dad to throat cancer in 2021 and it was the hardest time of our lives. He was taken way to soon by this evil disease, and anything that can be done to fight it is great in my book. Those engines are quite tuneable, I had the predecessor the NTV600 back in the mid nineties when I was a courier, I comfortably managed Fleet Street to Hartlepool and back to Sth Mimms services in eight hours, so you should have no issue doing the Lands End to John O'groats run, though I would get a gel pad fitted in the seat, your arse will thank you by around Birmingham.

Good luck with the ride, it’s for a great cause. The bike obviously cosmetically poor, but if the engine is sound will cover that distance no problem. Add in your mechanical skill & access to equipment, that bike will probably be the most reliable of your riding group.
