I think it is because he isn't using TAA on the game, or any kinda of AA, so in the end the image is way sharper.

I'm loving both ports of Horizon on PC done by Nixxes (HZD remastered & HFW), but seems like neither Guerrilla nor Nixxes is interested in implementing RTX. There aren't many reflective materials in Horizon, but water and ice surface could look much better with RTX. Nevertheless, amazing comparison, keep it up man!

If you are going to do comparison videos you really should upload in 4K. There is a lot of detail lost from 4K to 1080p. Otherwise good video.

There's absolutely no way you can justify staying with the original unless you're going through some financial turmoil and are on a super tight budget. The remaster is TOO good to pass up!

Even on the Remastered Version the reflections look awful! I know youtube's compression and just 1080p video doesn't show the best image quality, but either way there is no denying reflections look bad in both versions

Another ip that sony started to milk it all the way out they making a pattern right now actually every sequel of an ip comes out boom few years later we see a remaster of the last one thas not so different with the original one actually its not a bad thing with hardware and console evolution but not for a game that doesnt have even 1 decade age horizon zero down came out 2017 three years later we had completed edition and 4 years later remastered edition in 7 years we had 3 different version of the game that has a little tweeks in colors and graphics so sony sell its 7 years old game 3 times to us thats not right the only good thing is that if you had the original games you can buy this one with 10 bucks any way the video itself is a big W a lot of attention to details keep it up boy 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
