the Thargoids havent proven hostile yet, they might not be enemy yet so we need to be careful. i know its Alliance talk but the Thargoids could end up being a much needed ally in a future conflict.

kmungal they are not hostile yet and they might never be but it won't make much sense. The FD devs say it's going to be scary/hard. Makes sense to have a war, at least against the federation

QualifiedESA Engineer or maybe the AI...maybe it purged those records itself, and heck maybe there was a hostile takeover by it. I mean there are plenty of people afraid of an irobot-like AI situation for us today, and our AI is nowhere near that capable.

The Thargoids do seem to be centered on a neighbouring area to the Guardian ruins, but then there's also some Guardian ruins out in Skaudai sector near Sacaqawea Space Port (which is halfway to Colonia), which suggests that maybe the outcasts ran in the direction of the core (and ran a long way).

what if the closed of clusters of space in ED is one, gaurdian space, second is gaurdian AI space and the third Thargoid space. four clusters of bubbles. 1: human, 2: Gaurdians, 3: AIs, 4: Thargoids

Aivon that would be a cool idea but since the guardians empire has fallen i would expect only small bubbles with guardians and at very rare occasions some AI.

from the Sidey the usual route would be cobra mk3, then AspX.. reason would be because they're the far most versatile ships in their respective price ranges, with excellent value for money ratios.. by the time you fly the AspX you probably know what your main game / play style would be and can buy more specialiced ships.

Yep, my money's still on the Thargoids being the 'biological weapons' that The Guardians eventually wiped themselves out with. Think about it this way; if what happened was the result of some bad 'programming' wherein the weapon could no longer differentiate one side from the other (Classic 'too smart for our own good' scifi trope) it'd make sense that Thargoid tech reacts so violently towards Guardian tech; it's trying to purge it.
