For sure. I’ll gladly give it a continued first chance tbh. I love the game cause it does fit a very niche bill I have. Also will be excited for when the creation kit finally gets dropped and modders have a way with it.

Outposts have no purpose, mining sucks, building mechanics are clunky and have no real thought put into them, most disappointing game I’ve ever played, 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬…having to run around every planet what a wastes of time, build a land vehicle already!!!

Enjoyed some of it. Loved the Crimsom Fleet questline. Can't see myself going back to it again, though. It was just lacking in so many areas.

I enjoyed it as a break from Elite Dangerous...pity the two can't be combined! I also completed it, to the last mission before entering the Unity. Might finish it. Or might redo from the start with a different character. Will probably get the expansion DLC when it comes out.

People act like the game is irredeemable, which is incredibly short-sighted, since there's a solid foundation to build upon. Much of the criticism originated from embittered Sony fans. I can assure you that if a PlayStation port was announced in the upcoming Xbox event in June, they would quickly change their tune.

No, I will not. No DLC can remove thousadnd of useless empty planets, a story written by a 5 year old, useless companions, rearded skill tree and everything else that is wrong with the game. Better to forget it even exists and move on.

Actually, I'm still playing Starfield, but the game is not the n°1 choice I thought it would have been. This game SCREAMS it's need for way - way - more POIs variety the very moment you end storylines and start doing random exploration (which by the way is what always gave longevity and replayability to each and every BSG title). POIs are too few and tend to repeat themselves way too much. That's what kills the game, that, and the fact that as you level up, the first star systems become more and more unplayable due to the enemies there staying at the same low level. Everything else would become acceptable, wasn't for these immense issues. DLC will introduce something new, but sincerely I don't trust on Bethesda to do what it really takes to change the course of this game. I firmly believe Creation Kit is the only hope for Starfield.

Over a decade of games needing player patches and mods, Bethesda decided to capitalize on both our familiarity with this relationship and an online environment in which they control said patches and mods. They reduced their product to it's fundamental truth. This is what so many realize now. Even with MicroSoft, they aren't able to move beyond the past and like so many other companies whom lost key personnel, what remains is at best a ghost of what we once loved. So, no. No Starfield for me.

I'll give it a first chance sometime. It's funny, when it was released people were furious with me for saying I'd wait for it to be on sale and it became irrelevant very quickly.

I'll certainly give the new DLC a playthrough when it comes out - curious to see where that story leads. - TBH, I thought Starfield was a decent game, without being outstanding. Many knock the writing, but what I got out the main story is the writers are asking the player to take a step back and ponder the meaning of aspects about "life, the universe and everything". - I'm not expecting any major QoL or other improvements to Starfield with the DLC - To date, the patch cycle has been pedestrian with not a great deal in each one. - Going from the Todd Howard interview on KindaFunny, it looks like the Creation Kit for SF is some way off - although, maybe he's keeping his powder dry for the official Bethesda / 💩-box release announcement for the DLC

Years of Diablo 2 and all those which followed gave me my fill of 'looter-shooters'. I'll still engage if there's a decent enough story to warrant the chase for upgrading and I liked Everspace2's approach. Making a single player game interesting with this format isn't easy since style over substance is today's mantra.

They have been very quiet about the "new ways to travel" feature that was due for the upcoming update with the city maps honestly having some kind of rover or quad/motorbike for surface exploration would be a huge step forwards along with the city maps next on the list would be have the option to have exclusive first person if the player choses to play FPS including landing/take off and jumps that would help immersion and finally more diverse POI's and more freedom in space flight. With these features alone I would return to the game and probably have more fun with it.

Thought I was going to love this game... haven't even bought it as it turns out! More likely to go back to playing Elite I think than this. Funny how life goes...
