@@TheRoreaga If this released in late 2019 or late 2020 I may have genuinely considered it. Issue is the content isn't good enough to warrant doing this. On a sidenote, the more the devs release expensive items on the Marketplace (worth 10-20k MC or more each) the less I want to buy it. Ie. I'd be more likely as a customer to spend 1k MC on each Wolfpack Token and get several of them, than spend 10k MC on just one. It's just not worth it for the state of content releases in the game and the cost.

@@ObsidianChill I think it's worse than that, people who care about alts and also care about having strong alts are probably somewhat high tier players. Those types of players are more likely to also care about arts swapping etc, in which case it would probably cost them over $700 to get their DPS arts ready. Especially if they have characters with pet dps, aoe dps loadouts, single target loadouts all of which uses 1 or more different artifact.

The price does make sense when you compare what you are getting. If you have 10 or even 5 alts, leveling up a 200 artifact 5-10 times is ALOT more than $85. And when you think you could have dozens and dozens of 200 art copies for $10-$20 seems more insane from that perspective. If you only have a couple of alts then yes it is very expensive up front.

i have alts to do other roles and play different powersets. Have 200 arts on every role but i hate playing alts to enjoy different powers anyway. See this as a great way for me to play any and every power on my main without doing the arts again, even though i disagree with the monetization of this system

Like the concept but not the way it is set up. Would be better that I pay 85 dollars (more than the cost of the average new video game) and get a wolf token that is never consumed. It's mine forever. I can use it multiple times. Any time I get any artifact to rank 200, I can then use my token to make that artifact account transferable. Having to spend 85 dollars three times? I'm gonna pass on the whole thing.

@@richardoden9098 For elec and alot of dps in general as casual Trans-Strat-Quislet will be perfectly viable. You can also technically use trans-strat to heal with as well if you don't have other 200 heal arts. Ebon is another main might based art but for elec and the finisher usage on single target it can be not ideal without swapping presently.

I see the selling point behind this I think it's geared more towards the serious players who that's all they play is DCUO and nothing else with over 1,000 hours playing becauae 200$ on a micro transaction in a video game (Micro being a micro understatement lol no pun intended) is INSANE In the grand scheme of things. This is the single most expensive micro transaction on any video game I've ever seen. The only other I can think of would be the max amount of COD points you can purchase which is 99.99$ However 200$, 235$ at that is just mind boggling for a micro transaction.... that's the price of a bill. You could go to the grocery store for that. Think about all the necessities you pay with that amount of money lol. Video games are a hobby and don't have to be expensive but If your spending 200$ on them, 235$ on micro transactions at that- you have to be on the eSports- Competitive level or play the game for a living lol. Which goes back to the beginning of my comment. Overall for serious players who this is there main game and it's all they play then I can see The Investment paying off in the long run but that's a very small minority respectively lol. Th way I see it this is only good for universal artifacts, like trans, strat, philosopher, DKS etc., as those arts can be used with any role. Other than that I see this as useless and overpriced

If you have 5 toons or more it’s not. 8 or more it’s definitely not, most aren’t running 200s across 8 or more toons but they have 200s on probably 3 of those toons bare minimum.

Yes most people that have 5 toons or less are in this situation and why I said the Wolf Token is more for those that have 8 or more toons. It’s much more difficult to max out 8 toons on arts for swaps. If you’re a non swapper then this isn’t that great to do at all. Is it a micro transaction? Yes! Is it BS? Yes! But there are a lot of players with 8-12 toons and they definitely aren’t running 200s with swaps across all toons for them a Wolf is beneficial. But it does feel like a kick in the gut after spending hundreds of dollars on double xp to rank arts you need just to be told oh by the way

I feel like some people just won't be happy unless everything is free. $80 to clone a 200 art for every toon on your account is certainly worth it considering the time/effort or money it takes to get an art to 200.

whatever character you fortify the wolfpack token artifact on is where you lose it and it becomes account bound. So if you have PHR on your main and use the wolfpack, if you already had a PHR on your 2nd character it is still there, you could then fortify it into another in the future

I'm assuming if I have a 200 strat and get the pack. And claim it on another toon that has a strat at a lower lvl it wouldn't effect it. I'd have a wolf pack 200 strat and the regular art whatever rank it was before. ?!?!?

Correct you would still have the lower leveled artifact you could fortify into another one as you won't need it anymore. The Wolf Pack Token only effects the original 200 art that is fortified into it

What if after buying the Wolf Pack version you use the original to fortify another artifact? Are you allowed to do that or do you have to have the 200 level artifact on your account for the Wolf Pack to always work?

you have to fortify the same version of the artifact into the wolf pack. So if you buy a DKS wolf pack only a 200 regular DKS can be used to fortify into it.

Whatever artifacts you'd find most beneficial to have on all toons. As every toon has a dps role, dps arts are what I'd recommend. Like I'm doing quislet, transformation card, and Strategist card which work for basically any toon any dps loadout as it's the "meta". Just hoping they go on sale someday or they give us another way to earn a Wolfpack token If you only tank on all your toons then a tank art would make more sense like how OC choose Lazarus Pit
