The new eog spam healer requires sacrifice since it’s the shortest and the same cooldown as group transducer for electricity of their eog spam loadout. I’ve found celestial has the better sc generation. The new loadout is Admonish, Renew, Virtuous Light, Sacred Light (sc generator), Benediction (passive regen ability heals 525 supercharge when fully combo with soul cloak equipped), sacrifice.

correct yea these healer guides don't have the new EOG changes. Also running black adam ally as well. I have also seen some healers run quislet if its not endgame level content for more SC too

Also there’s the other loadout where you can replace the group heal for consume soul. But you can’t do the admonish combo into consume soul anymore the healing is not fast enough to warrant for it. In my opinion it’s stronger but you aren’t able to get any page of destiny stacks with it.

The only problem I have with this healer build is consume soul is overrated and not power conservative, consistent, or strong enough. Yes, it looks appealing to have a 1.5 sec cooldown heal but the heal is very weak as well and high power cost and the overtime portion of it is not worth. Your bread and butter is admonish overtime heal by combo. Everything else should be pure burst heal. Admonish, Renew, Virtuous Light, Blessing, Guardian Light is really strong on celestial and can make celestial seem overpowered and more power conservative than electricity. Last slot should be a supercharge whether it's sacrifice or consecrated ground. Consecrated Ground is still pretty strong just doesn't negate 1 shots completely but it strong and it doesn't break. Considered using Consecrated on a normal heal build and Sacrifice on a supercharge spam build.

Tbh the weak healing actually is coming from the admonish combo. That’s truly a weak heal. Ya it’s okay to use when pre-casting but not during the team dropping high amounts of health. You’ll need to clip 3 abilities so either consume soul, renew, virtuous light or admonish, renew, virtuous light.

Unfortunately, since consume soul is a niche heal and doesn’t fit well just combo admonish into consume soul and doesn’t clip at all with the group heal it’s better to drop it and just keep admonish, renew, virtuous light, guardian light, blessing, cursed idol for full healing. That way celestial easily strong burst healing. Consume soul is very weak in healing and not enough high burst numbers and it really is the reason why most celestial healers aren’t able to heal. You can easily get purple healing procs by healing teammates no need to heal npcs and pets. You can replace consume soul with admonish and it’s still viable just can’t get any page of destiny procs.

My Playstyle is something I like to call a shield healer. It's a healer that can heal others but focuses a lot on moves that mitigate/absorbe damage for their allies and themselves more so than just pure healing so their healing output is lower than other healers because they have more defensive options like shields and bubbles/barriers and stuff that mitigate/absorb damage for your allies. Like Scholar from FFXIV or Discipline Priest from WoW so what power would be good or close to that?

hey Obsidian! I've been torn between water and celestial. Would you care to make a brief explanation on where they stand in terms of playstyle, performance, strengths and weaknessess?

Celestial focuses on a mix of burst heals and heal over times where water really doesn’t have any heal over time just the pools which you can’t always use. Water focus more on shielding then healing. Celestial also offers max range heals. Water relies more on flood of power supercharge so you need your supercharge always high, celestial doesn’t require a supercharge to heal etc

I just came back after years being off and im running same exact spells for the same reasons i also run the slip stream suit because the healer trinket gives you a shield to the group its pretty awesome fast cooldown have. Ill have to try out this artifacts you are running too i use page, fang ,orb of arion turn the priority heal into a massive priority heal and healing over time

What is the mechanic for the "Blight" ability, or others like it? The initial description says erupt a dark energy at your feet and the celestial combo. But further down, it says [Cleansed] which says relatively the same just with divine energy. But in Healer role it heals you and up to 7 group members over time. My initial question is, is there something you're supposed to do to trigger the [Cleansed] version of that ability?

to trigger "blight Cleansed" perform the combo on "admonish", being in healer role is just an added effect of the ability. ignore the "while in healer role" if your not in the healer role

So I'm new at the game, why don't you use a skill point for hybrid instead of super-powered when hybrid says it is for healers and have 5 percent restoration and vitalization

celestial combos are a bit on the power heavy side, and because they are combos you aren't using your weapons at all which decreases your power regeneration. Hybrid you have to use weapons and powers to regen power properly, so for celestials case its more important (unless you have a really good controller but that is hard to gauge in content and you are solo alot like duos or alerts etc) to spec superpowered

How realistic is this for normal players? Because from what I have been seeing (and am grateful for you in the community) you have so much money to blow on this game @Obsidian and have been playing for so long, so you have so many Skill points as well and the average player can’t get by with maybe 200 From what I’ve observed anyway

skill points really don't impact anything compared to artifacts and even then in the bigger picture stats won't drastically impact your healing. Like I said if you have 50sp 100sp 300sp 600sp you still spec the exact same and level the exact time artifacts

⁠@@ObsidianChillthis is 🧢. If you have only 20 sp In might n power, you’re gonna have a ruff time with power even if you have 200 arts. 100 sp might power will give you 10% power which is all you need. Same goes with with resto. 10% makes a pretty noticeable difference.

PHR can work at 120, ideally page you would want higher. It just wont have the same effect but still usable. But level page first

I’m sorcery healer cr 344 and I have purp healing ray at 120, scarp almost at 140 and eog almost at 140. I run arberter spam load out and recently found out about this double 2500 eog spam stuff. Does it work the same with sorcery or you think celestial would be a better fit ? How is the dps

Gem spam healing can be done with any healing power because it’s all iconic or movement superchargers. And for the dps side, celestial has great single target dps and aoe is pretty mediocre. But sorcery has great single target and aoe. My first choice would be celestial but sorcery is great too.

It works with any power but actually sorcery is even better than all because u can spam sc in arbit itself, so u can use the human form as a normal heal and arbit for spamming heals. Because ppl rn spam 3 sc and that limit thier L/O

its just for a bit of weapon dmg or if you are bored between heals. If you are taking the hybrid setup for the extra stats you'll need weapon attacks to assist with power regen as well. Don't look at it as a necessity, its more just an option available to you

they are but with EoG after 6 seconds the healing done will be burst out to the group. So you do technically get a heal out of it and gem spam for the group
