Have you ever thought of maybe doing league recruitments, or something along those lines of being able to play with some of the people that watch you? You are so informative and honestly it's hard to find people in the game that will actually run with you and have the knowledge to show you how to do things. I've noticed a problem in this game is that people want people that are already experienced and most of those players are in elite leagues running with each other. But not many accept newer players and try to actually teach them how to run it and earn the feats so they become what they are searching for.

I wasn't just talking about being recruited though. I'm talking about establishing scheduled runs or something that allows maybe him and other experienced players that are willing to teach people the mecs and what to do in these elite raids. How is anyone supposed to get better if people are so standoffish in terms of playing with less experienced players. Not saying he is, but SO many others are. It's not like it wouldn't benefit them in the long run. Increasing the pool of experienced players allows for more feat runs and smoother content runs

Refractor is no longer good enough for earth. Maybe atomic or rage but for earth I use Manacles , Prototype and eye of Gemini because I have it at 200. You can use mystic symbol instead of eye if Gemini. Depends on L/O for that 3rd slot.

M Charge 100%. Earth is not the best tanking power currently therefore if you’re tanking pce first boss your loadout should be different than cte 1st boss for example. Sometimes you don’t even use your aoe pull ( epicenter ) so it’s useless unlike Rage and atomic tanks that basically use their pulls to heal themselves all the time.

Also, I recall that you use power efficiency for support roles like healer and troll. I decided to actually do some math for once and calculate the difference. With reserve tank I found that while I did use higher power from moves, the extra power compensated for it 🤔 I compared the power left after using the orb of arion priority heal twice, and it wasn’t a huge difference, but the power left over from reserve tank was greater than power efficiency. Can you confirm this or tell me what I may have done wrong?

The thing is that despite your power pool being higher, controllers still give you the same amout of power, so it's better to have a bit less power pool and reduced costs because controllers would restore more power to you % wise

Flipeled What I mean is, I calculated the percentage decrease for power efficiency and the percentage increase from reserve tank. That decrease, despite how nice it may seem, wasn’t enough for me to consider it more viable. After using the same powers, I was left with nearly 2k additional power using the latter. I believe in being self sufficient, especially since good trolls are hard to come by, unless they are elitists. Even then, the chances of someone a bit lower in “status” running with them is slim since they will probably be running with league lol Additionally, I spec hybrid as healer and the extra power gives me extra regen from weapon attacks. I’ve been testing out this new build and even with average trolls I can keep my power up.

One thing for this game bugs me. I really want from you one day if you like to explain me about the gear. I know there are DPS gear and Tank gear. So please explain me why we need to have just DPS gear or just Tank gear? Why don't we have mixed Gear? For example when i use DPS gear i have weak defence and ppl often use DPS, so my question is, is it preferable to use mix gear like half of DPS and half of Tank? I mean this thing i want to know more. I saw that sometimes Tank gear with lower CR is more powerful then DPS gear with little higher CR. Why is that?

Even with Obsidianchill's mix up, which does actually net more damage than spamming JH alone, but you are still primarily dependent on JH. Crystal, I didn't like that it offered 0 versatility. If you spam JH alone, yes it offers 0 versatility as well.

If you use crystal and have the type d affinity mod you will have 2% damage to crystal and high defense with aftershocking tanking making earth really op :)

are you not using entomb consistently? Earth is one of the best powers to use with EoG because of the consistent supercharge usage because of unstoppable. When you use entomb are you using it near other dps to get their dmg as well?

david baker you can but you have much less survivability as with brick you have the dmg transfer and he’ll taunt for you while you dmg but with crystal you’d just have aftershocks in dps gear with no extra absorption

sonic shout and gag glove aren't single target abilities. If you are in a boss fight with any sort of adds you will lose massive single target damage buy running a aoe rotation.

the critical heals won't impact brick as brick is healing himself rather than you are healing him. It will impact soothing sands mostly so just put 10 and 10 in the sp to get to the next tier you would need to max them.

I have watched several of your videos and I am still confused on how skill points are applied when switching between roles. If I set up my skill points for DPS loadout as default, then switch to tank loadout for a dungeon w/o any other tank available, my skill points remain in the dps setup. How do I get both dps/tank skill points set up so I can then switch skill points when I switch roles on the fly? I can't randomly leave a dungeon to go reset my stats to play as my secondary role. This has always confused me about the game. It seems an either or situation - either I can only run with dps skill points while in dps/tank role, or I can only run on tank skill points while in dps/tank role. If this is the case, then how do I know which to choose dps skills points or tank skill points? You never touch on this aspect of the class set up in any of your videos (at least not that I have noticed). If there is no way to change the skill points when you change your role, which is the better choice as default skill point set up? Is there a button somewhere on the skill point page that lets you apply the skill points to a specific role loadout? Since your guided skill point set up is so different depending on the role, it appears that these points are useless if applied to the wrong role. It seems pointless (pun intended) to set up skill points for a role, and then have those points be nullified when you invariably switch roles. Since switching roles is supposed to make the game easier to play based on the dungeons and other players you encounter, not being able to switch skill points to match your desired role is ridiculous. If you have discussed this somewhere and I missed it please let me know. Thanks.

Brandi Cole DCUO has what are called Armory for your base that allows you to save loadout and spec configurations. Right now what you are doing is just switching role mid raid, which you are correct does not transfer specs just switches role. Respec for tank or whichever role and then you have to save that gear/skill point/gear to that armory and then you can switch to that armory during the raid

Brandi Cole yes, ideally 3 so you could have dps and then single target dps for boss fights and 1 for your support role. The armories do come on sale sometimes but there is no what to earn them in game besides the free one they give

@@ObsidianChill Ok, one last thing. I have tried to set up an armory in the past (at lvl 12-ish) and got a bit confused. It input all my gear/stats/etc. Then I had trouble unbinding those gear items from my armor when I upgraded to newer gear. The old gear just sat in my inventory with an icon attached saying bound to armory and can't sell/delete. (or something like that). Then when I tried to input the new gear - hoping to override the old gear) it just reapplied the old gear straight out of my inventory back into to my character's utility slots, and dropping my new gear in my inventory. I got frustrated early on and gave up on armory as a whole. As I am not currently at endgame gear on any of my characters (my top 3 are between CR 238-258) could you possibly do a guide on how to work the armory correctly? The tool tip from early game rushed through it, and I obviously didn't get the knowledge I should have. I realize that most of your content is targeted for higher CR players, but this could go miles to help a struggling middle CR catch up. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to chat with me about this.

I personally clip localized tremor w unstoppable instead of tectonic break. I did extensive testing even tho it was a while back and it did way better numbers than tectonic break. I always trust ObsidianChill tho so we'll see

Tremor is more consistent dmg wise but you have to be considerably closer to hit all your targets. You could be missing out on dmg if a few adds are a square too far away.

The pets don't do enough damage themselves to warrant running fortify/offering unless you can clip them. Sorcery unfortunately has no clipping moves while Earth has unstoppable. The powers have long animations and you would gain more dmg in the long run vs going through the animation each time.

I would prefer Everyman, the refractor buff isn't that strong and while health is great it doesn't impact as much as the increase defense ontop of the defense earth already has. Also worst case when brick dies and you have to resummon and don't have protection Everyman at least will buff your defense where Refractor will only give you another 15k health maybe

only purpose of superpowered is just so you don't run out of power it provides no other benefit for tanking. Hybrid gives you the 5% resto and 5% dom which not only increases your defense as earth but your shield strength as well.

you mean if there are alot of dots and adds does earth still do well? Earth aftershocks would as long as you can maintain it but Brick would be terrible in a dots/adds situations and will continually die and you'll die eventually when you are trying to resummon it and you don't have a shield ready because its rare the healer knows the moment brick is dead and not paying attention

@@purowreak8880 mix it, keeping enough to pass the min dom level but moreso you'll know if you lose too much def and need more. I would say DPS jewlery like rings/neck etc and then start added more dps gear until you hit the sweet spot.

the single target one is the Trigon 2016 SM Chest, the DPS one is the 2015 FOS SM chest and the tank is the Deluge vendor gear

It's a foot mod called "Dashing Combos" its in your base generator mod list as feet. Then you just have to tap melee

Fortify golem provides a shield for brick not health that's what totem is for.

Incorrect, totem is a small heal over time to brick/crystal where when you hit fortify brick/crystal is supposed to not only get power but a gemstone shield which is not currently applying the protection which has lingered for many months
