I spent two hours this morning editing the subtitles (which are automated and always wrong) ...so I could also include different languages, and although I saved the draft numerous times, and even published it - the timing sync wouldn't complete...then my whole draft suddenly disappeared into internet ether. What is the point of KZbin's 'saving' mechanism, if it doesn't save? I give up. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Thank you, Oddie Beau, for another exquisite and unbiased look at such an interesting life. You always bring such life to the people whose stories you’re presenting, where many other presenters fall flat. Plus, even in the reading of it, your passion and fascination shine through. I already went through my own rambling diatribe on people “changing” and the reasons under a reply to another commenter here, so I won’t reiterate it here. I believe people change over time, for certain, some for better, some for worse, but that all retain some things from youth deep within their being. I would love to hear older cases if you’ve the wherewithal to cover them, as I know they are a lot more work and many might never be solved despite progressive technology. If you do decide to cover some, I certainly won’t complain. Just happy my hubby was able to squeeze in a Patreon membership to our budget. I can’t even explain how much it means to be able to share with like minds and interests with you and this community, especially given my self imposed hermitage. 😅 It helps exercise this mostly unused melon on my shoulders! 😂 I’m sorry the edits for text didn’t work out, but, given that it’s YT, I can’t say I’m surprised. At least the one thing I can say is that if I ever use their subtitles, the wrongness is often entertaining. 😁

Enjoyed this as always, good story, Laura seems to enjoy this life alot. beautiful caskets they had in those days, on another note, I look back when I was young as well had much energy, very active in high-school was very fast around the track, and I remember bicycling at night, running super fast at night,, I find it now as many a struggle to arise from bed, my back is a pain machine daily. I was so extroverted as a younger person, although i remember being a loner at the same time, very ambitious, then, compared to now not so good, I just pretty much take one day at a time, I dont feel as if Im really living rather existing, but I find peace in feeding birds, my three cats are my life, and i love nature, and enjoy winding down at night with you interesting videos.

I enjoy your stories and find the way you make the expressions change on the photos very intriguing, not sure how it is done. Magic?

This reminds me how thankful I am that our mostly outdoor kitty 🐈⬛ (by choice) has begun coming in at night to have a snooze on our bed. ❤ I love just chilling with her.
