Great video as always, keep up the good work! It definitely helps a newbie like me. What weights do you have on the front of the KRG Bravo?
@ocabj2 жыл бұрын
The MLOK weights from Gray Ops CNC.

Liked the cam. Hopefully you can’t get it mounted on the voodoo

That crazy ladder setup...I was sure that was some kind of mistake by NRL22 but your video shows otherwise...accident waiting to happen if y'all ask me.

I'm not sure why people are so concerned about this. The MD will secure the ladder on match day for their respective match venues. I didn't find the need to do so just for this video because I was the only one shooting on it.

Super helpful video my first one will be the June match, quick question I saw you kind of “rock” the rifle back and forth a little, is that to get your bipod to stiffen out? Just curious I have been trying to get mine where I want it but it’s going to take more practice thanks!

I think you’re seeing me try to flatten the rear bag to shoot the far targets. Our rimfire range has higher target areas. We’re basically shooting a 10%+ angle of inclination beyond 50 yards vs the under 50 yard targets which is on level ground to the firing line.
@stephenbramel93952 жыл бұрын
That makes sense, I’ve heard guys say to “load” the bipod and I thought maybe that’s what you were doing. I’m still trying to get a good technique to getting it deployed and settled with my rear bag. Thanks

First off, I want to say that I enjoy your videos and appreciate the content you post up. Not to sound harsh, but I was wondering how you justify preshooting every NRL22 COF before a match? This gives you a distinct advantage over the rest of the shooters who show up "cold" and haven't put the thought that you are able to having preshot the COF. I know that you place extremely well if not win every one of these matches you run. At least from what I have seen. Again, just an honest question and not trying to ruffle feathers. Please keep up the good work that you do.

I run it as an MD because I need to make sure the stage setup will work at our venue. Early on, I wouldn’t prep and just setup the layout morning of and often we’d be in a situation where the targets weren’t visible from position or other logistical problems requiring a lot of cease fire conditions and fixing targets and props. As far as firing before the match, even if I was not an MD, I would still do this. The CoF is published by the NRL on their website the month prior so as a regular participant, I would be able to practice the CoF before going to a match. I get some people show up cold, but I know other people also practice ahead of time. The key advantage is for anyone who has the time and opportunity to live fire.

@@ocabj Since the NRL publishes the COF ahead of time, it certainly is fair game to practice. Thanks for explaining. I don't have access to NRL22 where I live and wish we had someone to host it. In PRS however, that would be highly frowned upon for the MD to preshoot the COF since it is not a predetermined set of stages by the organization. That being said, it still happens I'm sure to a certain extent. How much is hard to say.

@@CP-ct5op Yes, a format where I am the one designing the CoF every match would be one where I wouldn't include myself in any prizes or in the final results, assuming I shot it at all.

The stage with the ladder laying down seems like an accident waiting to happen. When I set up the stage for my match I’ll probably tie the ladder to the sawhorse so it won’t fall off
@ocabj2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the last time they had this style of stage, I secured the ladder to the sawhorse for match day.
