With everyone’s comments about childhood nostalgia, I feel kinda weird that I STILL somehow manage to experience a strange sentimental nostalgia when listening to this game’s music, *even though* I didn’t play the full game until just a couple years ago (3DS version)... when I was a kid, I played only the *very first* part of the game (didn’t even get to the inside of the Deku Tree smh). I was only 6 years old (I’m 23 now) and my family and I were staying in a hotel room that had a GameCube u could play on, and it had the demo version of OoT ported from N64. (It also had Majora’s Mask demo ☺️) Yet, somehow, this ENTIRE game (and its wonderful soundtrack) still gives me chills, nostalgia and a childlike sense of wonderment...hm. I think I’m so enamored with Ocarina of Time because it’s a magnificent game, and not necessarily because of any childhood attachment, since I only played a very small part of it as a kid :P So people who say this game is overrated “because people can’t take their nostalgia goggles off” are wrong. This game deserves every single bit of praise it gets, even after all this time. And yes I should’ve played more of it when I was a kid 😓 But at least I played all of it at some point, lol! Brilliant video 👍

A great collection here ^^ A lot of it was really relaxing, and I had a lot of fun with your Lost Woods section! Loved its place in the order right near Song of Storms, and near the end - both have such a rambunctious quality to them, and are really memorable tunes. Oh, gosh. It was so hard to choose favorites. My main favorites were "Lon Lon Ranch", "Zora's Domain", "Kokiri Forest", and "Lost Woods". "Goron City", "Gerudo Valley", "Sheik's Theme", and "Windmill Hut" also really stood out to me, though! Even then, it took a lot of thinking to narrow it down to just those... Eek. While I prefer the more cohesive nature and the storytelling of the ALttP and LA medleys (the two I've listened to thus far), I understand that your intention here was not to necessarily have the songs in a proper order but rather to have the medley flow well (which it does!). Regardless, I do think you really captured the spirit of OoT all the same and this is still amazing work! My favorite part was probably the Kokiri Forest into Lost Woods bit; like most of your remixes I've heard, it's transformative but truly captures the spirit and magic of the original pieces and the parts of the game they appear in. Lovely stuff! :)

Wow, this is my first time here and I find this very, very impressive and easy to listen to. This is very well done. I'm into music also, a drummer. But not quite this extensive. You gained another sub! Also, if I may ask the creator, and if it isn't too much trouble, may I ask to use some of this music in the background of my game videos? The Temple of Time has a really nice mystical mysterious feeling. I liked the whole section from that through Zora's Domain. It's all great though. Did you slip in some elements from Twilight's Princess' versions of Goron theme and Lost Woods? Did I spy mention of a Chrono Trigger medley in the comments? Exciting! I love Chrono Trigger and its music.

TheLilSiver Thanks! The TP Goron theme wasn't involved in the Lost Woods part, but the actual Goron City movement took heaps of inspiration from that! CT medley is in the works. ;)
