Ocarina of time PC port has gyro aiming

Title is pretty self explanatory

Talked with my friend who works on this project and went very in depth about gyro aiming and the best practices for them.

its honestly interesting how the "new 3ds" model added a new "analog" stick but since ocarina of time came before the new 3ds it has no use, but in majoras mask that came after the release of the new 3ds xl this new button has a functionality, and nintendo never gave a interest on adding it to the ocarina version by somekind of patch

So far this feature doesn’t work yet on the Steam Deck. You can enable it, but it won’t work and makes the game crash if you try opening it after.

@@tekgeekster Yeah, I have no doubt. They did say they are working on the Steam Deck version. And if it doesn't, meh. Not like aiming in OoT is complicated, y'know?

anyone have problem with the gyro aiming having a mind of its own. as soon as i use a slingshot, the camera moves on its own.

Currently running this on a steam deck, how do I turn gyro on? Assuming this isnt some kind of mod or something because idk where to find the setting in the menu

I don't know how to do that on steam deck unfortunately. I know pressing f1 shows a menu.

That gyro aim is moving faster across the screen then npc text ever can.

@@davidraid You don't have to, it uses SDL which natively supports DS4. Turn off DS4 windows and for gyro make sure you have DS4 configuration turned off in your steam big picture mode settings, or just exit steam

actually, it’s already been ported to steam deck and works just fine, from what i’ve seen
