I have started wearing nitrile gloves to keep my fingerprints off the model and the paint off of me. I have just started doing that on an SMS Derfflinger 1916 1/700 model (tiny!), but it seems to help. This is just a thought, as I saw you handling the pieces while painting. Thank you for showing the painting/staining, as it is good to see how the wood drinks the paint. Thanks!
