This video brings back some memories brother. Me and my late brother went to SC Mertle Beach to spend spring break but for some crazy reason our college was a week a head of the total Spring Break party time that the owner of a run of the mill hotel, gave us a entire Beautiful Beach House right on the shore for absolutely free (even though we had already paid for our regular hotel room before arriving) just so we would be separated from the rest of that hotel's clientele for the two weeds I had already paid for. I tell you what brother, that was one of the best times I had ever experienced in my entire 47 years of life! We were the Kings of the beach with our house and we went on a chartered fishing tour as well before we left. We so many different species of fish that I really can't remember what we ate that day. All I can say is that South Carolina is one of the most beautiful places in the world!

The last time I went down to Florida and my dad and I went fishing (my parents and both of my sisters live down there, I live in Pittsburgh), all of the local bait shops were out of live shrimp, so we bought a dozen pinfish, and some frozen shrimp. We tried to fish around some upscale boat dock in Hernando Beach, but we made our way out into the shipping channel and I threw out a pinfish on a larger hook and I caught a beautiful cobia and a good size blacktip shark. I grew up down there near Tampa in a town called Brandon, Florida, so I've done quite a bit of feeshin down there and I KNEW that pinfish was going to be the bait to use if we couldn't get skrimps...or greenbacks.

You need a steel leaders dbl drop (2) hooks with a wire surf sinker and they won't bite you off anymore. Some people use a treble steel leader as a trailer on a steel leader regular hook. Your catch percentage will go way up. Esp treble trailer. It allows larger mullet for the BIG sharks
