The camera work at the end is just beyond brilliant. Pit and Clooney get closer and then the camera, in sync with the music BTW, goes for a close up indicating that the character is in the game, no extra dialog, no extra bs, just pure and beautiful camera work.

You do know in the 7 weeks French campaign the French killed more Germans and had more casualties than the entire American World War 2 effort right? That the full-force of the Wehrmacht was aimed at France when in 1944-5 only a tiny fraction faced the Americans (even on the Western Front there were seven different allies attacking German positions). I understand the Americans did the mop up and administration after the war, but the Russian defeated the Germans, took their capital, forced the death of their leader... the Americans just firebombed their industry and civilians. That's real history my dude!
