The older I get fighting becomes a smaller part of my life, it felt like everything for a while but as the dust settles my values too have shifted. I’ll always be a fighter, it’s in our nature, but the way you carry yourself outside the cage is everything to me now, the class and the character. I remember seeing a video of Volk free diving in the waters of AUS & he instantly gained a bunch of respect. Born & raised in Oregon the coast is so rugged & unforgiving but I've loved crabbing kayaking fishing but to freely swim In the ocean is on another level and anyone who does that deserves a certain level of respect in my opinion. That's F'ing Gnarly!
