I agree but the problem is that with a destroyed net, they are unable to save more seals until it is replaced. There needs to be some other solution for the big seals it seems.

@@pabbischannel8812 They have a long pole with a sharpened U hook that they've used before. Don't know where it was this time. The downside is basically one or two quick chances at hooking in, works best when the big seal is asleep.

I’m sure a BBC or other channel should make a documentary to highlight your plight and dedication as an amazing team with what you are achieving! This one video of this fantastic creature, so powerful… fighting so hard to survive, what he believes to be an attack, to be kindly relieved of the real killer…. the evil plastic strap, then scooting off, thinking he has beaten you in the great battle of wits and strength, not realising you guys were the real Angels saving his life, it just brings me to tears. You are all just so unassuming, without ego, working together for the greater good of these wonderful innocent animals that we can’t help but adore with their puppy dog faces and strong family bonds!! I am truly hooked, sorry if that sounds like a pun… it’s not!! I can’t imagine what these animals would go through, and those before your help, have gone through over the years from the awful pollution in the seas, these days and days gone by. I will be donating. I wonder if any one reading this would consider doing what I do, when I can, which is leaving the adverts on, I can be busy doing something and leave them to run! If I remember correctly, this was the one you saw a couple of months ago and said "He's too big to capture but we're hoping we can sneak up on him when he's sleeping sometime and reach out with a pole and cut that strap". Well, it cost you a net but you did capture him and free him. Great job!
