Arzuros holds a special place in my heart as being the first monster that swiftly humbled me during my first forays in the Shrine Ruins as a green horn hunter. So your detail of referring to them as the Demon Bear got a proper chuckle out of due to digging up that old memory, Oceaniz. This was an excellent watch, thank you for the effort you put into your ecology series.

Lagombi is probably my favourite of the bear trio. Its name honestly sounds kinda cute, and its anatomy and locomotion feel like something that could actually evolve from rabbits in real life. Also, the thought of a giant bunny burying an entire village with an avalanche is lowkey hilarious.

i love Arzy, but as a fight he isn't much even for newbies. I'd say Great Jaggi, Maccao, and Izzuchi do a bit of a better job. Redhelm though is a great intro to the Deviants

I thought of this as you were talking about Red Helm Arzuros, but maybe you could do a video on the conflicting classification of APEX monsters. By that I mean there are The Rampage APEXes and then there are the Fury Virus APEXes. Cause it does strike me as an odd same name scheme.

Really depends on what you want out of a game. There's some unique features in between the games. Would you like an immersive slower paced game focused on environmental story telling and weighted weapons? World. Would you like an high action fast paced game with super moves and customizable weapon kits? Go Rise. Would you like an spin off where you can instead ride the monsters as a pokemon-like rps (Rock Paper Scissors system) turn based combat game? Go Stories/Stories 2.

Why is "Pelagus" used in the Mon-Hunt world and comunity? In real life, it's meaning is related to large bodies of water, but Fanged Beasts are not related to water very much, so what gives?

It was used in the english version of MHFU at some point, but I'm unclear as to why that word was chosen by the team (and it was abandoned almost immediately)
