ancient tech

considering most fabricators can't afford them still in 2020 I disagree. Ancient tech would mean smaller fabricators might be able to benefit from them. Nope.

@@jrayner21679naw it is kind of ancient tech. these single spindle drill lines have been around for decades. they are better than mag drills for sure, but are not even close to comparable to something like a robotic plasma coper. these help if you have a small shop with little room and want to do projects up to maybe a couple hundred tons as your largest project, and dont plan to grow past that. i mean it increases your capacity for sure. but if you have room and want to grow a lot, something like a robotic plasma coper pays for itself probably even quicker and will allow you to grow exponentially. if you plan on going after projects that are larger than a couple hundred tons, youll want to step up to something like that very quickly. the difference is massive

@@jrayner21679smaller fabricators can benefit from them though. you can buy used ones for 75k all day long, and they allow you to feasibly do projects that were a nightmare without it. it just isnt even on the same playing field as full blown beam lines or robotic plasmas
